I'm a little domestic and a whole lot of geeky.

I plan out grand travel itineraries and make giant lists of places I hope to one day travel.

I'm a dreamer, regardless of the fact that my job keeps my feet firmly planted on the floor. I love movies and music, the places they can take me to while just staying in one spot.

I enjoy the company of friends but also know how important it is to have some time to yourself.

I think I can be pretty funny at times, but of course not now, when I need it. I can be witty when I have people to feed off, and not in a cannibalistic way. At least, not yet.

I'm a gamer without actually being any good at video games. But they're fun and I love them.

I am quirky, geeky, and hopeful

I am just about to start a permanent position after years of being a nomad, traveling around where I could freelance a job. I haven't lived in one place for a very long time. I am both excited and nervous for a place of my own again.

My quirkiness. The way I don't completely match. The massive amount of black in my wardrobe.

I'm ridiculously obsessed with Doctor Who right now, and it's offshoots (Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures). Really, anything British. I also love Pushing Daisies, The Office, Chuck, Community, Castle, How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, Criminal Minds and Bones.

Favorite movies include Amelie, City of Lost Children, Persuasion, Secretary, Mallrats, Clerks, Serenity, That Thing You Do, Cherish, Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Junebug, The Princess and the Warrior, A Very Long Engagement, Delicatessan ... and that's the VERY short list.

I love Mexican (especially Chipotle) and Chinese food. OOH! And Thai food. I miss really good Thai food.

I read a lot and love most books. I'm currently trying to read everything by Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. Then I want to revist James Joyce and Virginia Woolf. I'm a geek.

And I'm a big independent rock girl: Greg Laswell, Cary Brothers, The Kooks, Tegan and Sara, Boy Least Likely To, Death Cab for Cutie, Cute is What We Aim For, Rogue Traders, Lily Allen, Hot Chip, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Florence and the Machine, Kate Nash, The Automatic Automatic, Keane, The Perishers, Iron & Wine, Passion Pit, Editors, Muse, Masha Qrella, Mike Doughty, Bird and the Bee, Ingrid Michaelson, Ben Folds, Train, Semisonic (before they broke up) ... way more than I can list here.

Diet Coke, friends, my computer, hugs, the arts (film, theatre, music, etc), video games (I'm addicted...)

I wear fake glasses because I think they make me look cuter ... and a little more professional.

I sleep with multiple covers on, even in the summer. I like being warm while I sleep and love flannel pjs.

Also, I still watch Disney movies. Sometimes you just need to regress back to when times were simpler and the most important choice you had to make was what kind of freeze ice to eat (blue raspberry or orange).
