My friends usually call me the straightest gay man they know. I am a Gay Boy Scout Frat Boy. Normally, I think most people would think that as being somehow contradictory but that is just me.

I love the outdoors, college sports, and cheap beer. Yet, I love the theatre, art museums, and a fine cocktail.

I'm looking to find someone who can enjoy all those fine points of life and is willing to explore everything that life has to offer.

One of my biggest turn ons is intelligence with the ability to parlay that into witty and funny comments. There are too many funny points in life that are regularly ignored.

I also used to be a canoe guide in Northern Minnesta in the Boundary Waters. Waking up and seeing mist come off the lake, seeing otters play around your canoe, and finding an endangered flower were all amazing feelings.

I am originally from Southern Wisconsin and I attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I oddly enough have a degree in Forest Ecology and another in political science.

Lots of stuff that keeps me busy. Friends, some online classes in modeling (no...not the pretty kind), and my awesome job keep me pretty busy.

math, brewing my own beer, and remembering arcane bits of pop culture.

I'm a voracious reader so putting down favorites would be hard. Right now, I'm finishing "What It Takes" which is about the 88 Presidential race.

Favorite movie is hands down "Chinatown". I can watch it repeatedly and never got bored.

TV shows--Top Chef, Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, Family Guy, American Dad, and The League. If you like The League, you definitely need to email me.

Music--pretty eclectic and always open to new stuff.

Food--yes. All of it.

1. Cheese. It's so good.

2. Podcasts of public radio and www.howstuffworks.com. They are
entertaining, informational and funny.

3. Olives. Truth be told, I hated them for a long period of my
life. But then one day I had good olives...i.e. not the ones
sitting in a jar at the supermarket for 5 years.

4. My Nalgene bottle. One by my bed, one at my desk at work. Both
covered with stickers about me.

5. Diet Coke. Like the water of life....only brown, carbonated, and
caffeinated.

6. Beer from New Glarus Brewing Co. That stuff is just amazing and
the people who make it are some of the best people in the U.S.

I used to play World of Warcraft. There's even a video of me talking about that. Maybe you'll get to watch it someday.
