My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name is Lucas. I'm very laid back and easy going, nothing bothers me too much...I live a drama free life, and aim to keep it that way. I'm a pretty funny guy. I'm perfectly happy at home watching a movie or playing cards or video games. However, I do enjoy going out to concerts and go see local bands. I'm a Bears and Cubs fan. I'm really close to my family, and look forward to starting my own. I love to golf, even though I stink. I love to go fishing, more now than ever with my new boat. I love to travel, especially going to concert festivals and camping. I would love to do it more, just need someone to travel with!

I seek someone who wants to go through life's challenges together, but still want to spend time with our friends, either together or on our own. If you want to go have girls night, or I want to take the guys fishing, that should be no problem. I'm a pretty easy going guy. I'm not the jealous type, or possessive. I like to make my partner feel special, but also give them as much space as they want. I'm looking for a woman who is looking for the same.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
About a year ago I lost my job to this stupid economy, so after exhausting my search, I started up a computer repair business with my friend, fixing computers and doing web design, etc. We just moved to our third shop, we keep growing out of where we're at! And with the gov throwing Pel Grants out like parade candy, I decided to go back to college for a computer graphics degree, with a masters in technology as my end goal.

In my free time, I like to do homework. Kidding. I usually spend my evenings watching TV, playing video games, or reading. On the weekends I have game night/poker with my friends. Over the summer I go fishing with my dad and uncle most Sundays. I enjoy watching football and Cubs games, and usually hit Wrigley Field 3 or 4 times a summer. My family is fairly small, but we're real close.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...whatever I set my mind to.
...fixing computers and electronics
...cooking
...trivia (nobody ever wants to play Trivial Pursuit-like games with me)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my tallness, and my sense of humor.

I'm not an avid reader, but I'll go through a reading kick every now and then. Usually I read when I go to bed, cause I fall asleep about 2 pages in. My favorite author is Patricia Cornwell, and some sci-fi fantasy novels if they're recommended to me.

Favorite movies: Apocalypse Now, Usual Suspects, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Fear and Loathing, Clerks, Big Lebowski, cheesy Saturday night Syfy movies.

Favorite TV shows: The Wire, Treme, NCIS, New Girl, SVU, Eastbound & Down, Ghosthunters, Walking Dead, Prime Suspect...I rarely watch anything live, my DVR is usually full. I watch a lot of news and politics too.

Music: Umphrey's McGee, Blues Traveler, Disco Biscuits, Bassnectar, MGMT, SCI, Bela Fleck, mostly jam bands, dubstep, alternative, no country though. My Pandora is on everywhere I am. I love going to concerts and festivals. Been to bonnaroo twice.

Food: Not much I don't like. I love seafood...I'd move to the coast simply to eat fish the rest of my life. Oddly enough, I'm not much of a steak guy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my family - small family, but mean the world.
my friends - life would be horrible without friends.
my car - I'm not a gearhead, I just love my Element!
music - not big on silence most of the time.
the internet or books - I crave them brainy type things.
I guess my medicine? - if I could do without, then...I wouldn't have to take it...right?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
do I have homework due?
what time is it?
where am I?
I need to meet someone, I'm done with this single phase of my life!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing homework that I should have done earlier in the week, but don't want to waste my weekend doing it...or sitting on the computer, wishing all my friends didn't have kids and could go out lol.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
its Friday night and I'm filling out a dating profile...
