Argh. I'm not shy, but I do hate to write about myself. It always comes off as either a laundry list of generic personality traits (happy, adventuresome, kind) or some cooky rambling about how you would love to be eulogized (a poetic soul, who loved animals and little children; she loved to cook and to surround herself with friends).
So, I'll focus on a few of the things that I like about myself that I would like other people to appreciate in me: I try to be honest and considerate and helpful whenever possible. I love adventures and am constantly dreaming up my next big trip or the newest sport I'll take up (I'm into snowboarding, surfing, diving). I'm pretty easy going (except when I'm being impatient or intolerant of ignorant people, or am just plain cranky). I have a fairly liberal approach, which is very much influenced by my travels and exposure to many different people and places. I think that the more you see, the more you know is out there.

I recently moved back to Arizona, which is where I grew up and where most of my family lives. I've spent the last two years living in the Caribbean (did you figure out where from my user name?). I am a former professional, but after a two year hiatus, I started working in the film industry. I am still working here in Arizona on a consultant basis, but will likely be looking for a new career sometime in the next year or so.

I'm only really good at cooking, snowboarding and navigating through foreign bus terminals. I'm fairly good at photography and have a workable proficiency at word games and surfing. I like to think I'm really good at dancing, but I realize others may disagree.

Last Friday night, I played kickball in the park and went to a BBQ.
