I am adventurous, fun, and open.

My Self-Summary

Although I change constantly I suppose there are things that seem to be more important or stay with me longer, so I'll tell you about that part of me. I always try to be as open as possible so I can absorb as much positivity and wisdom as I'm able. I'm funky and eclectic, which some might call strange, but to me it is interesting and fun. I am passionate about life and get easily excited over seemingly simple things. I love philosophy and discussion as long as there is room for the natural flux of ideas.

Nature and being outside are a priority for me, especially when it includes dancing and the beach or forest. I also love getting dirty from going hiking, camping, climbing, sliding in the mud or whatever else strikes me.

I've traveled quite a bit and love to experience new things and new places. I am likely to be found writing, sleeping outside, singing and/or dancing. I enjoy sitting around a bonfire talking, making music, or just being with people. There's nothing more peaceful.

I'm very sensual in the literal meaning of the word. I'm intrigued by sensual stimulation whether it's visual, auditory, olfactory, kinesthetic, etc. I touch everything and want to experience typical things in unusual ways.

I am drawn to water and love to be immersed in it whether I'm swimming, paddling or just playing around.

There's always more to know, so if you're willing to learn, I'm willing to share anything. I love to know more about most anything, so if you've got a thought, shoot it my way and let's get on with life!

What I’m doing with my life

I'm studying psychology, movement, experiential education and wilderness studies. I've supplemented my schooling with other forms of living life, and am doing so at the moment as well. Worked as an outdoor school instructor and hope to continue on a similar pathway.

I also meditate, read, write, experience and try to expand my mind as well as my spiritual, artistic and emotional life.

I’m really good at

I like to think I'm pretty good at singing, especially vocal improvisation. I'm also a decent dancer and rock socks at frolicking (a really important skill for life). Whatever I'm doing, I'm really good at finding the good things about it and making it fun and enjoyable, no matter how much it sucks. I'm pretty good at finding the amazing qualities of others as well.

The first things people usually notice about me

I've been told I have an aura of positivity about me. I am often skipping or dancing around strangely just because it feels right.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

There are way too many and they change all the time, so I'll just put a few of each.

Books: The Alchemist (Paulo Cuelo), Cat's Cradle (Kurt Vonnegut), Does it Matter? (Alan Watts), Dream Weaver (Jack Bowen)

Music: rock, jazz, blues, electronic, reggae, hip hop, r&b, funky goodness and all kinds of other stuff. I think there are great examples of music from every genre that exists.

Movies: Waking Life

Food: Thai food, green tea ice cream, soy beans, avocado

The six things I could never do without

I would like to think that I would take on the challenge of not having something important to me as a new experience to learn and change positively from. But these are probably the most important things to me:

My family/friends, the ability to listen to and or create music, the ability to sense and feel the world around me, water! (I love it-to drink or swim/play in), books or the ability to learn more, and nature (i.e. forests, deserts, ocean, etc.)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life, learning, people, friendship, hobbies, myself (like how to be more awesome than I already am :) or more like personal improvement/growth really, connection, respect, love, nothing, white-light, healing

On a typical Friday night I am

There is no typical for me, I'm all over the place doing all kinds of things.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Privacy is a construction of the mind. Want to know something, ask it. I'll answer the best I can.
