I once finished second in a jalapeño eating contest...I wouldn't suggest trying it. I also once wrestled in a wading pool filled with vanilla pudding. I might suggest that. It was much nicer than the jalapeño eating contest. I'm a walking paradox. Yes I am. No I'm not. Actually I'm pretty level headed and laid back. I like the sound of that as an opening though. I'm training to run my second marathon in a few weeks.
I'm a special education teacher who has been living and teaching in New York City for the last several years. It was a wonderful experience, but the northwest pulled me back!
I spend a fair amount of time trying to think about the small things in life and find endless glee in sometimes simple occurrences such as people eating miniature chocolate donuts and washing them down with grape soda. People are mesmerizing to watch. Sometimes I perhaps might even find myself the one being watched for my wild antics....I'm always game for something new.

Thinking about how things are constructed, both socially and physically. I like to think about the idea that no matter where you go in the world, every place in the world is in the end just a place in the world. Also thinking about insularity as no way to engage with life. A life lived is one examined and embraced, one where in the high's are cherished and revisted with perspective beauty.

empathy. Bowling. Singing falsetto while cooking. Being motivated to run....and not just from the police! Baking without making a mess.
