My self-summary
I am looking for that perfect balance between relaxing and getting things done. Let me know if you have found it.

My greatest time relaxing was during a terrible nor'easter that kept me stuck in my house for a week. I consider that week the Golden Era of taking it easy.

It isn't all fun and naps though because in the real world you have to do things if you want to get anywhere. Plus sleeping and relaxing all day can get pretty boring.

The first step to fix that was deciding to get my MBA. The second was to move down here to start a new chapter in my life and gain a new perspective on things. The final, and most important goal I set is to have my cooking be as good as Mom's, no matter how many smoke alarms going off it takes, by the time I am finished with school.
What I’m doing with my life
After five years at my last job, it was time for a change so I decided to go back to school and get my MBA full time. From here on it is two years of networking and lots of tests about finance and figuring out how to sell widgets for the optimum price.

I am excited to be back in school and live in DC. Where I previously lived contained about one person per acre and you needed a car to get anywhere. Now having access to all these great things I have been trying to make up for lost time. I have already visited the big monuments (Lincoln, WWII, Washington Monument, the zoo) but I have plenty more I want to check off.
I’m really good at
projecting my voice (I get remarks all the time to be on radio), fixing computers, planning things out, and baking desserts. Seriously, I bake and I am pretty much the best baker I have met so far, it is no big deal.
The first things people usually notice about me
my voice resonates on its own frequency and can be heard in a 20 foot radius around me, regardless of any barriers.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Road, Anasi Boys, His Dark Materials, Watchmen, The Hobbit, Wool, The Foundation Triology, any sort of dystopian story or super scifi book.

Movies: Pineapple Express, The Big Lebowski, Gladiator, Shutter Island, Spaceballs, History of the World Part I, any comedy film with Leslie Nielson.

TV: Southpark, Arrested Development, Firefly, Law and Order.

Music: My taste is ecletic to the Xtreme. I do like Live, Audioslave, Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, Les Miserables, Ragtime, Baroque choral music, E.S. Posthumous, DMX, Eminem, Deadmau5 (before he was cool), and move trailer music.

Food: I'll eat most things, although I have trouble with spicy foods which I am trying to overcome. That being said, chocolate desserts and Arnold Palmer are my medicine. I don't remember the last day I went without one or the other.
The six things I could never do without
Life goals, Wikipedia, winter clothing, chocolate, time to reflect, and Arnold Palmer (the drink).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what happens when the unstoppable force meets the immovable object.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends at someones apartment or a bar, venting all our rage from business school. Once we vent and are able to relax, we talk about the important things like who invented the question mark and geopolitics.
