My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm kind of an exercise in duality.
I'm pretty sure I'm smart, but that doesn't keep me from being way stupid.
I'm a pessimist that looks forward to better things.
I'm driven and motivated but god damn is it hard to get off the couch.
I'm a dick but I'm kind of a hopeless romantic.

I love to be outdoors, I'm a wildlife biologist and conservationist by education, but unfortunately not by trade. Yet. I like any kind of gaming, and watching movies, TV, or listening to music and pirating as much of it as I can are other things that generally fill my days. I'm pretty nerdy too.

I could also tell you what I want in a relationship. You can skip this part if you don't like spoilers.

I'm a little on the neurotic side so it helps if you aren't quite sane. If you are upbeat and optimistic that helps out too. I feed off of it well. Someone a little strange, or a lot of strange is perfect. I get bored of normal people. I would like a partner, someone who gets me. Someone where we can be happy just sitting on the couch together. I think it's the little things you do for each other every day that count I think.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working on my masters degree. Trying to think of something interesting to put down. Mostly I'm just trying to figure it out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a music snob.
Criticizing others for being a music snob.
Being sarcastic.
Catching bugs.
Finances (no, really, I actually am.)
General nerdyness.
Sleeping. I got that one down to expert level.
Gaming of any type. I'm like the cast of Grandma's Boy.
Being awesome.
Pretending I'm awesome.
Talking in circles.
Overthinking everything.
Referencing pop culture that no one knows because its not popular.
Using a microwave.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If this were magical Christmas Land, I would tell you my dashing good looks, my endless charm, and my functional omnipotence. But it would be the gray hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books: Anything. I love to read but i usually don't make enough time. My favorite genre is Fantasy though. You know. Wizards and shit.

Favorite movies: Anything funny or with 'splosions

Favorite music: Really eclectic, but mostly alt rock and indie. I listen to a lot of punk and emo too. Pinback, Abandoned Pools, Finger Eleven, and Deftones are a few. Otherwise my ipod has like 10,000 songs on it right now. Everything from the BeeGees through Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Just not really into pop, rap, or country. But even glam metal has a few redeeming songs so I can't discriminate.

Favorite foods: Anything with cheese. Cheese curds and pizza fries top the list. After that comes anything fried, then anything ethnic with Japanese and Indian topping the list. Seriously, I plan on dying a very large man someday. If you find beach balls sexy, see me in 10 years.

Favorite shows: Off the top of my head, Always Sunny, Venture Brothers, Dr. Who, Sherlock, IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, Archer, and Trailer Park Boys. But I get sucked into a series with a good plot way too easy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My face, as it holds all the sensory organs that make most of the other five things actually enjoyable.
2. My ipod.
3. Internet access. I remember days before the internet like a vague dream, where we used slate and abacus, and people went to the library for books. Real books!
4. Real books.
5. A rocking chair. Nothing special, no jokes. I just really like to be in rocking chairs.
6. A pulse.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything and nothing. All at once. Constantly.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to figure out what to do with my Friday night. I like renting movies and playing games, having some friends over, or going out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
