If you're trying to work out where I'm from, I'm half English and half Indian, and was born in Kent. Apart from my skin colour, I'm really just a typical English guy. I am a law graduate, and a director of my own small company.
I now work as a business consultant and a programme director, which often feels like pushing fog up the side of a very big mountain. My work definitely pays for my life rather than defining who I am. If I found a very large suitcase of money in my attic (impossible as I've done a loft conversion), I'd stop working and do something less boring instead.
I'm optimistic, a bit left wing (still), and have spent a lot of my life trying to keep learning, thinking and being open to new things. Inside, I still feel in my mid-twenties inside, just with more experience and the odd silver hair creeping in!
I'm also now dad to two children; a daughter aged 12 and a son aged 7. My son would probably say I know an awful lot about Lego, and StarWars and Lego StarWars. With my daughter, I'm trying to find ways of staying connected to a fiercely independent daughter, which includes lots of debate and negotiation about iTunes playlists on car journeys and the benefits of sleeping over watching endless drivel on YouTube ;-)
I like to stay fit but am pretty faddy about what I do :-) invariably this means you might find me playing squash, swimming, running indoor climbing or doing yoga or pilates. Mostly, I swim a lot (I try to swim every week) and find it helps me relax and stay trim.
What am I looking for? You're probably keen to understand this to help you to decide if we are a good match. I have no interest in a one night stand. I'm only interested in meeting someone with a view to building up a friendship and only then possibly more. I've been married a long time, but it's been sexless for more than 5 years.
