Usually I can be found in one of two states: either I'm exuberant
and brimming with energy. I want to awesomize the world and make it

I teach physics to high school students. It's fun! I love my job. I
get a lot of satisfaction out of designing and giving a lesson
which really sticks with the students. And of course to hear about
the endless perils of high school life from my students. Also, I'm
busy experimenting with gamification in my classes.
When not working I like to play games (board and computer), dance
salsa, read voraciously, cycle to work, watch movies meant for
other age categories than mine, dress up as silly characters (see
my photos), and to hike through the mountains. Also, I tried my
hand at surfing this summer, and it was really awesome. Oh, and my
ballroom/latin dancing lessons just started.
Finally, I tend to sing/whistle/dance all through the day, much to
the chagrin of moody people everywhere.
