My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Super-powerful warrior sent back through time to create okCupid profile and wear glasses. I'm even funnier in real life!

I like to ride my bike and cook dinner, but not at the same time. I got rid of my TV, but I still watch Netlix. My parents live in the East Bay, so I watch Game of Thrones at their house. I'm way behind, so no spoilers. I like adventures and reading. I have cats that I named after pirates.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Typing things, sending emails, and the occasional conference call.

I read a lot and try to go to the movies once a week, which I think is pretty cool. Sometimes, I listen to records while eating pizza and drinking beer. I think that's pretty much the best.

I ride my bike when it isn't raining, and I take Bart when it is (my cat is also named "Bart," but he's named for the pirate). On the weekends, I like to drive out somewhere new and go for hikes.

I love going to see shows and will give your favorite band a shot if you'll try mine.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not freaking out or anything. I have a level head and I think of good ideas. I really try to think things through before making any big decisions. I try to have a plan, but I've noticed they don't always work out.

I have good manners, a good attitude, and I'm considerate of others. At the same time, I will tell you what I think.

Movies: Man on Wire, La Dolce Vita, The Purple Rose of Cairo, The American Astronaut, Dr. Strangelove, and Blade Runner. In 2014, it was Her and The Edge of Tomorrow (seriously, it was great).

Shows: Firefly, Arrested Development, and Freaks and Geeks.

Music: American Death Ray, The Reigning Sound, Bix Beiderbecke, The Magnetic Fields, Max Richter, Thelonious Monk, Iggy Pop, and Lou Reed. I also listen to other music.

Books: Cannery Row, 9 Stories, Hyperion, Slaughterhouse-Five, Conan, and The Garden of Eden. I also read some poetry. I'm a big fan of the New York school, so feel free to bring that up.

Games: Baldur's Gate, X-Com, Fallout 2, Ultima VI, Warcraft 2
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Rice cookers are pretty good, but I could always just use a pot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I will do with my weekend. What I will do next. Books. What to cook for dinner. What the cats are doing. How cool it would be to know how to build more things with my hands. How the grass is always greener. How much time I spend looking at a screen. What I should think about next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Getting a drink after work and then impressing everyone by going to bed by 10:30.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to go get coffee over the weekend. This is maybe my favorite.

You want to go see art.

You are serious about minigolf.

I've inherited money.
