My self-summary
I'm pretty terrible at writing about myself. I'm awesome. Actually, I kinda suck. Or maybe I'm at least okay. I love to draw, read, write, sculpt, paint, play my bass, work out, cook, hang out with friends, steal priceless artifacts, and invent time travel. I like to think of myself as fairly interesting (due to a high number of dramatic/odd events I can call upon for anecdotes), but I'm sure plenty of people just find me obnoxious. I generally try to avoid conflict if I can do so without compromising myself. I'm modest. I'm an arrogant bastard. I'm a pretty nice guy. If anything contradicts what I've written, it's because I change it up now and again.
What I’m doing with my life
A smattering of things. Going back to school, work, doing some art, working out, reading, writing, playing bass. Re-acclimating to Wichita.
I’m really good at
I don't know that there is anything I'm really amazing at, but I tend to perform above average at most everything I do. My artwork is probably where I am best, but it's still not enough to really rise above mediocrity so far as artists are concerned. I also love cooking and feel that it is one of my more refined skills.
The first things people usually notice about me
Uh. I'm a little tall? I'm sunburned as hell in the summer and pale in the winter? I have blonde hair? Blue eyes? I'm a guy? Yeah, probably that one.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Gah, so many.
My single favorite book might be The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. The series is good, but falls behind some others. That one book, however, was just stellar.

Series I love:
The Name of the Wind, The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
The Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erickson
Ender by Orson Scott Card
Dune by Frank Herbert
The Black Company by Glen Cook
The Warded Man, The Desert's Spear by Peter V Brett
The Prince of Nothing by R. Scott Bakker
The Long Sun by Gene Wolfe

and I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty.

I don't really watch television, but I do enjoy some movies.

Assassination of a High School President
Repo the Genetic Opera
Trailer Park of Terror
The Matrix (not the trilogy, just the first)
Hackers
Sin City
300
Kick Ass

and such.

I do really enjoy anime, manga and comics, oftentimes favoring the darker and grittier ones. I love stories with complex moral issues and good ol' fashioned badassery.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
While I usually cope very well with most things, when I'm at my worst and can't, I tend to turn to self-destruction.

I think that my dreams and aspirations will likely turn to dust before I see them come to fruition.

Obviously not all of these are required or anything. Just message me if you want.
