I was born in DC, grew up in England, went to college/lived in Boston, and now I'm working for the man in DC again. So, you know, welcome home.

I used to row in college, and I miss being out on the water sometimes. I'm a Red Sox fan, Bruins fan, avid traveler, and sandwich aficionado. Fun facts: I've worked at the Colbert Report, I have a bartending license, and I have a recommendation from John Kerry that says we're "friends-- best friends, actually." I enjoy people, I like adventures, and I joined this thing with two friends-- Derek and Christine-- who think they can do better on it than I can.

Prove them wrong.

After working for a state senator in Boston for a year and a half, I moved to DC three years ago to do some communications consulting. So right now I'm mostly working, and hoping the Sox can put together a winning record this year. And trying to find something else to occupy my time.

Music: Sam Cooke, Steve Miller Band, Doobie Brothers, Led Zeppelin. I'm not proud of it, but my music knowledge starts around 1964 and ends at "All My Life" by K-Ci & JoJo. At this point, all I can do at most clubs is mouth words and fist pump.

Food: Anything, really-- my family was big on being a "tryer," so I'll eat anything once, and then usually again to prove that it didn't gross me out.

I hated Catcher in the Rye. There, I said it. And I will not apologize.
