My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Reasons why a guy like you might like a girl like me: low maintenance, I can dish it out and I can take it (I grew up with older brothers so teasing is my main method of showing affection), independent, fiercely loyal, family oriented, always up for anything, big nerd in disguise (maybe not the best disguise), easily pleased (romantic dinner at Qdoba anyone???), fairly intelligent but I provide plenty of opportunities to laugh at my ditzy moments.

I grew up on the Jersey Shore (not like MTV Jersey Shore - guidos need not apply) and moved to the Philly area to be closer to school. I'm studying clinical psychology, but I promise not to psychoanalyze you... (ok I probably will, sorry I can't help it).

I'm just looking to meet someone nice that's fun to spend time with. I'm not looking to rush into anything necessarily, but I'm also not interested in dating for the sake of dating. Eventually I want to find that special someone, and I'm interested in a guy that's looking for the same thing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology.

Interning at a Partial Hospital where I do individual, and group therapy and conduct psych assessments.

Researching ways that people can have amazing relationships, especially by meditation.

Running and/or working out at the gym.

Trying to grow as a person and figure out how I can provide the most value to others
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Untying knots/untangling things

Parallel parking (I'm better than you at it, and you're just going to
have to be man enough to accept it)

Being humble... and ironic
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get eyes a lot but I'm pretty sure that's just everyones default compliment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter (I warned you about the nerdiness, but I swear I also read grown up books), Mans Search for Meaning, Reviving Ophelia, Count of Monte Cristo, How to Win Friends and Influence People, Love's Executioner, anything by Dan Brown, or Malcom Gladwell, anything psych related

Movies: way too many to list. #1 = Forrest Gump

Shows: Dexter, Games of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Colbert, Conan

Music: A little bit of everything. Top 40s, oldies, jazz, classic rock, anything that makes me want to dance (everything makes me want to dance).

Food: I like to try different things... but I could eat nothing but Mexican food for the rest of my life and be perfectly content.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family/friends
2. Laughter
3. An ocean
4. Learning
5. A dog
6. Bean Burritos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Mostly I think about people - what makes them who they are, and how can I help them, what's the key to happiness, what's the meaning of life, how can I better myself? and who pissed off this sassy starfish?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
going out with friends... preferably dancing or trying something new/different,
or being a homebody with a good book/movie/documentary/glass of wine
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I bump into things.... frequently
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're passionate about life and learning. You're just as likely to enjoy an intellectual conversation about how our country's school system should focus less on building knowledge and more on building skills... as you are to crack a smile when I call you a poop-head a minute later. You answered "Dedication" instead of "Passion" when asked what's more important in a relationship - and if you didn't please read this
But also, if you can really make me laugh... all bets are off :)
