Im constantly looking to enhance myself intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally. I like humor,politics, movies, sports, and not shopping. I could not shop all day and really enjoy it.

I am fascinated by how many different types of people God created and how we all have so much to learn from each other. One of my goals in life is to help people understand how much we can learn from others including people we think of as enemies.

I love intelligent conversation and those who practice it.

I think intimacy is the least understood word in the English language.

I have two wonderful daughters who are true blessings. They are involved in sports, art, and dance and they keep me hopping, plus the older one is learning to drive.

I enjoy people who help me view the world differently and more completely.

I'm excited to be living in a time when there are so many possibilities for tremendous change in the world. I think we are on the cusp of major advances that will improve the lives of billions of people.

I am longitudinal, fascinated, and experiential.

Im doing a lot of writing. Maybe, someday someone will actually read it. I have two major projects I am working on and a few more in the conceptual stage. My major project right now is a novel. Writing is such a fascinating process. For me, it comes in bunches. I've finished a novel and I'm ready to move on to another writing project. Pretty exciting.

My main goal is helping to successfully raise my girls and help with the rest of my family anyway I can.

listening to people. Trying to understand people and helping them. I am pretty decent at problem solving and critical thinking. I'm also told that I am good at making people feel at ease and at leading groups to get projects done.

I usually do pretty well at making people laugh and relating to kids. I've helped coach my kids soccer teams and that has been very rewarding.

They usually don't, which is a good thing. I think its much easier to make your mark on the world when you don't stick out. Then it is your deeds that are noticed, not the person. Those who do notice would likely say the hair is quite noticeable.

Books: Generally non-fiction on politics, religion, etc.

Movies: I generally like substantive movies. Movies that make a point or several points. Examples are The Manchurian Candidate(original), All the President's Men, Dr. Strangelove, but then I also love movies like Office Space or Animal House. I liked both No Country for Old Men and There Will be Blood. If anybody gets a chance to see the movie Crawford that was made about how having a president move in affected that town, you should because it is excellent.

Music: Rock, mainly alternative. I love Sleater-Kinney, Depeche Mode, REM, U2, Bright Eyes, A.C. Newman, Patti Smith, Pixies, and many others. My two new favorites are State Bird and MrGnome. I also love the last Raconteurs album and I am looking forward to jack White's next project

Food: Italian, Southern, or just about anything

what I need to do to help people. I definitely feel a call to do that, but I haven't figured out how. Any ideas are welcome.
