My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Facepalming the actions of others, I am usually smiling behind that palm, feigning embarrassment or maturity for the sake of playing the "straight man" of the group. But really I'm just enjoying the show. When I do break out it's very hard to turn off the goofiness.

As with most men I stopped maturing around the age of 17 and have been faking it ever since. However, I do know when the times call for seriousness and a stone face.

I'm an unapologetic geek, I love video games, board games, and going to cons. This doesn't mean that I don't go out to bars or clubs though. I enjoy going out just as much as I do staying in.

I try to go somewhere new or try something new at least a few times a month. If this mean trying something I've never had on the menu or going to a bar that seems interesting. I love finding new hobbies or activities and wish I had an unlimited amount of money and time to do everything I've wanted.

I blacksmith when I find time to and hope to make it into a full time hobby some day. What I'll do with it I have no idea but it's a ton of fun.

I quote random shows and movies a lot and if you don't get the reference I will most likely try to get you to watch said show or movie at some point.

I much prefer the low lighting in a jazz club or coffee shop to the loud noise and flashing lights of a club but it doesn't mean I won't go to them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently a bartender because after finishing my associates degree I decided that maybe my major wasn't for me. The bartending job is a lot of fun and I've met some great people and some great experiences.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making stupid jokes or references. Marathon runs entire an entire series on Netflix. Reaching things on the top shelf. And I can make you some of the best burgers you've ever had.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm always being told I look like another person. The most recent people I've been called include: Wil Wheaton & Mac. (It's the dark hair and beard, isn't it?)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Anything by Michael Connelly, Orson Scott Card, or Lee Child, history books, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and fantasy books.
The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, Kick-Ass, Star Wars, Crash, Snatch, Sin-City, The Lord of the Rings, The Boondock Saints and Star Trek (the new one).
Breaking Bad, Modern Family, Community, Firefly, Castle, Sherlock, Dr. Who, Scrubs, The Boondocks, South Park, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, old Nicktoons, and old Cartoon Network shows.
I have very weird musical tastes; I listen to almost everything, even Country and Rap so long as the Country music isn't about Jebus or depressing and the Rap is from the 90's. I mostly listen to Jazz and Rock. But if I had to put some of them into a list: Pat Metheny, Bela Fleck, Mike Stern, Chick Corea, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mumford and Sons, Foo Fighters, Cage the Elephant, Rush, Journey, Boston, and many many more.
Mass Effect, Dynasty Warriors, God of War, Soul Reaver, Left 4 Dead, Skyrim, Civilization, Katamari Damacy, Pokemon, Zelda (Majora's Mask best one of all in my opinion) and so many more to choose from really but those are easily my favorites off the top of my head.
I will eat and try almost anything. But in my book you can't beat a good steak or sushi. And I love to grill veggies and meat. Bring on the spicy foods... the hotter the better!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Car (I love to drive)
A big comfy couch or bed for said naps
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything and everything. I often get curious about a subject and will then go on a mad search to find the answer.

Going over my Z-Day preparations, for its not a matter of "if" but when.....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either going out with friends to a bar or somewhere new or staying in, watching shows and playing games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sing along to all sorts of songs while I'm driving...usually very loudly and have been known to point at other drivers as if I'm singing to them...

You can enjoy a guy who can just turn into a total goof at the drop of a hat.
You haven't been scared off by the fact I was called Bearwoski in college.
And big bonus if you love the Mass Effect series or know what Frisson and ASMR is.
