My self-summary
A good friend once told me that I'm a combination of all the characters on 'Parks and Recreation'. That's a good place to start.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in the marketing department of a corporate travel company Monday to Friday, writing proposals, ghost writing for some of our higher ups and making powerpoints (obviously).

Saturday and Sunday are a bit more of a toss up but can include: a party of some sort, meeting up with friends for drinks, trying new food spots, taking in 'culture', catching up on TV, exploring new neighborhoods and / or slothing around my apartment. My friends and I also like to do karaoke a lot.

On here to meet a nice, funny guy (with all his ducks in a row...) to date. Side note-if you actually have ducks and line them up for me this is basically a done deal.
I’m really good at
Talking to people, cheering people up/making people laugh, making cards, taking power naps, making omelettes, identifying what things smell like and taste like ('this beer tastes like licking a grill' - it did), planning / executing themed parties/food crawls/other organized group activities...probably some other stuff, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I was once told by a stranger that I had a 'sweet face...no really...you can't replicate the kind of sweetness that's in your face'...so that?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The World According to Garp, Harry Potter series, Cat's Cradle (pretty into Vonnegut in general), The Little Prince, Gilead. Plowed through a couple of John Irving's books last year and will probably continue to do so this year #2014

Movies: When Harry Met Sally, Eternal Sunshine, Juno, Dirty Dancing, Mean Girls, The Big Lebowski, As Good As It Gets

Music: I may or may not be in love with the following musicians - Beyoncé, JT, Jay, Kanye, Tay. But then, I also used to like punk music. But now, I also sort of like country and top 40. Do with that what you will.

Food: Steak, Brownies, Bagels, Avocado and Cheese, FROYO, Mashed Potatoes. Not necessarily any of those things together.

TV: Six years later and I just finished watching 'Friday Night Lights'. Oh my god. Also, Parks & Rec. The Wire. Breaking Bad. Various 'Real Housewives' shows. Scandal. Do I watch too much tv?
The six things I could never do without
Friends / family, naps, sunshine, dvr, music and another book to read. If I had a seventh it would be cheese.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Oh, you know. Life goals. Funny things. People I know. People I'd like to know. Places I'd like to go. Things that have happened. Things that are going to happen. Things I'd like to do. Things I 'should' be doing. Song lyrics. Dance moves. Food. Books. This is silly.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally I would say that I'd like a Friday night to involve any of the following: dinner, drinks, friends, relaxing, tv and some tasty food.
