I'm quiet when I first meet someone, and I can be kind of shy. Once I get comfortable though, watch out! One of my ex-boyfriends told me I was "feisty". I like to think that it's more that I say what is on my mind, usually. I have decided that life is too short for games and dishonesty. So I opted out of that scene.

Most people say the first thing they notice about me is my laugh. I love to laugh, and have a great time. I have been told that I sound like a little girl when I laugh, I still haven't decided if that is a good thing or a bad one. I also really enjoy reading, and I will read just about anything that is lying in front of me. I have read the whole Wheel of Time series, and I am eagerly awaiting the next book. I might have cried a little when I heard that Robert Jordan had died. Movies are also something that I enjoy watching. Scary movies, chick flicks, or comedies, you have one and I'm there. I will confess though, Jim Carrey makes me crazy.

I'm very close to my family, they are the ones that have to take you back when you have hit a rough spot, and mine has been amazing in that respect.

I'm looking for a guy who would like to share some quiet times cuddling on the couch with a good movie, or hanging out with a few close friends. A sense of humor is pretty important, because what would the world be without laughter? I also want someone who is open-minded and not afraid to spend time with people who are different. Looks really aren't that important to me, as long as you are ok with who you are, I have found that others are too. If those "others" aren't ok with that, then it's been my experience that I don't want to know them anyway. That being said I prefer guys who are on the "husky" side, but I would never refuse to date a man because he didn't fit some mold. Honesty is a must. That is the only non-negotiable item on my little "shopping list".

Listening. I'm a great listener, and I love being the person you go to when you just want to get something off your chest. I don't necessarily have to give advice, I can just be an ear when needed.

Hmm... my laptop would be one. My family would be another. Mousse and hairspray (I have naturally curly hair, and frizz is never pretty, lol) I think those should count as one, but they probably don't. A pillow and blanket. And the last depends on my mood. It would be either a really good book, or chocolate.

Usually hanging out with friends, either at my house or theirs. I'm not really into going to clubs or bars.

That I'm obviously willing to try computer dating. I'm going to save the really juicy stuff for when I get to know someone. There has to be some mystery, right? :)
