While I did fill out his profile (some of the profile questions below, I had to get him on the phone), he took all of the tests/quizzes himself.
When I first met BJ, he was probably 15 years old. He was wild/insane. He used to wear great big pants (remember JNCOs?) and had short/buzzed blonde hair with two long pieces at his brow (so they looked like devil horns). He also sported a giant (real) bicycle chain in lieu of a wallet chain that he consequentially cut/bloodied up his leg with. He loved the song "The Safety Dance" and could occasionally get so hyper he would bite anyone. Yes, I said he'd BITE people.
Let's fast forward to 2010:
BJ is one of the rare and the few who hasn't lost what it means to be young. Although he doesn't bite people and isn't quite as hyperactive, he still loves to joke & laugh like a madman. He told me to add that he has a childlike sense of wonder - because it makes him smile to say it. He will party with the best, but he never drinks to get drunk. He is tame in most respects; he's laid back, never has issues with people (unless it's something serious and undeniably awful), he's a GREAT listener, and he loves bad jokes & really cheesy pick up lines. He will (and can) talk about anything. ANYTHING.
In BJ's own words (I'm copy/pasting this from his Facebook page):
Most call me weird. I don't believe that I'm weird. Maybe I look at things differently than most or maybe I live by a different standard. It is true that I am not the average bear, but that is what I enjoy most about my personality. I know that most things people call common are actually not, such as common sense and common decency. I am uncommon. I laugh when physical ails befall. What would crying or whining do? I try to do or say something completely random daily. When someone makes a funny or confused face it makes me smile. I make at least one person smile daily. If I can make someone smile that only makes my day brighter and that one laugh may save them from a horrible day. I look at everyday no matter the weather as beautiful, because I am alive to enjoy it. I learn something new daily. If not I feel my day is wasted. I try to talk to my friends daily, to lend support to their day and I understand the value of friendship. Call few people friends and even fewer enemies. I let the things that do not matter truly not matter. There is no point in wasting my time over things that cannot be changed. I will just take it as a compliment to be called weird.
FYI: Just to clue you in on how open-minded & awesome BJ is, we are 35% enemies (and probably rising) on this site. In real life, we have never had a single argument, and any views that we disagree on, he is always willing to listen, respect, and have an intellectual debate without any insult.
