My self-summary
Lived in LA for six years but grew up on the east coast. I'll give you a hint, it's a state more people drive through than actually live in. (That's a statistical fact and I challenge anyone who disputes it). I went to school in NYC (and I miss it every single day, although sometimes I worry it's college I miss, but let's just say it's New York). I am not only gainfully employed, but also a well-rounded person, with my own friends, credit cards, and keys.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently on hiatus from a certain television show revolving around a wife who happens to be "good". While that is my current position, I'm trying to figure out a new plan of attack. The end game for me is filmmaking (to be a writer-director). At this point, I'll contribute in any way I can.
I’m really good at
Writing run-on sentences, as you'll notice from this profile. That actually, might be on right there. Oh, another thing I'm really good at is getting words rejected from urban dictionary. I think I hold the record for it. That being said, I got my first word accepted last year: pre-vite. You can look it up, only if you promise to use it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have been told I have an extensive collection of t-shirts. I go to a lot of shows and I like to buy shirts to support the artist. I've also been told that I wear green and brown a lot. And when I wear brown pants and a green shirt, that I look like a tree. I will neither confirm nor deny this.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'll try to boil this down to what I am currently consuming.
BOOKS: Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72, If They Move...Kill 'Em: The Life and Times of Sam Peckinpah, A Shore Thing (I won't deny that I'm reading this but it's for a book club)
TV SHOWS: The Simpsons (always and forever), Futurama, Louie, Veep, Justified
MOVIES: My favorites of 2013 thus far: To The Wonder, Mud, Tabu, Side Effects, Gimme The Loot, Upstream Color. The list for every other year goes on and on and on, I'll watch/try to give pretty much anything a chance.
MUSIC: Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Frightened Rabbit, Cat Power, The National, Explosions in the Sky, Sharon Van Etten.
The six things I could never do without
I really have no idea how to answer this question. I had a jokey response for a while that was either a terrible joke or terribly executed. So I'm just going to leave it blank except for this paragraph I am currently writing.

Hope that helps?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
That Calvin and Hobbes might be the greatest work of visual art of the 20th century.

(Extreme hyperbole but let's use that as a jumping off point and discuss!)
On a typical Friday night I am
This about sums it up....

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still watch Real World.

Forgiveness. Please. Ugh, it's so terrible this season too.
