My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a peacock; you gotta let me fly!

Woah, woah, woah! I just looked that the "Personality" thing on my profile, and it says that I am "Less Friendly to Strangers"; I doubt that many strangers who have met me would feel the same way.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am looking to become a high school history teacher. I already have my degree in history and now I am just looking for that first job that will launch my career in education.

But, what I am actually doing with my life right now is: first, I am applying to Pitt to get my Masters of Education, but, in the meantime, I am working for a tutoring center that helps young people with learning and/or developmental disabilities to improve their reading, writing, math, and social skills. I really love my job and my students seem to really love me back, so I guess it is working out.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Depends on the situation:

You'll either notice how bizarre I am and my weird, and sometimes inappropriate, sense of humor.

Or you will notice my work-ethic and my desire to do good. I would never do anything to someone that I would not want done to me.

When it comes to reading I'm not the biggest reader of fiction and things with stories, but some of my favorite books are Ender's Game and The Perks of Being A Wallflower....
But the books I really enjoy reading are philosophy and history books. Some of my favorite authors are; Nietzsche, Rousseau, Plato, and Kierkegaard. My favorite books are: Thus Spake Zarathustra, Beyond Good and Evil, The Social Contract, A Discourse on Inequality, and The Sickness Unto Death...... If you do not read philosophy, or simply have no idea what I'm talking about that is okay, because most people I meet have never read what I have read either, so I am adept at talking about other things as well.

I love all kinds as movies, as long as they are good at what they are trying to be: I want a scary movie to make me jump out of my seat; I want a comedy to make me piss my pants; I want a romance movie to pluck at my heart-strings; I want a drama to make my eyes water..... And something that you should know is that I get watery-eyed, close to crying, during a lot of movies, so I hope that doesn't turn you off. Anything directed by Wes Anderson, or is in the same style, is a huge plus.

Just like movies, I like all kinds of television shows as well.... Some of my favorites are: How I met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Family Guy, South Park, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and many, many more.

Music? Music?! I love music. But I would prefer music to have some kind of heart and soul in the lyrics. I like all kinds of music; from oldies, to rap, to bluegrass. The only kind of music that I don't like is some modern day country, though older country is pretty good. Some of my favorites include; Mumford and Sons, Trent Wagler and The Steel Wheels, Trampled By Turtles, Lupe Fiasco, Kidd Cudi, Atmosphere (rap), Sweatshop Union, Common, and a whole lot of other good things.

And food, I'm trying to expand my horizons, but I really love sushi. That is all.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, Society, and Politics.

How did we get here as a society? Where are we going? What could we do, as a society, to improve the lives of all of those around us?

What can I do to better myself? What can I do to reach my goals of becoming a great teacher and a loving father and husband.

Oh, and I also spend a lot of time thinking about mundane things like sports, television shows, and video games. I'm kinda lame like that.

you believe that you would make a good partner on The Amazing Race.

I do not necessarily want to be on the actual show, but you have to be a certain kind of person with a special kind of bond to not only succeed at the race, but to also not want to kill each other by the time it is all said and done.
