I'm generally pretty easygoing and relaxed, but I can get intensely motivated when something needs to be done.
I love history, and last summer I had the opportunity to take a course in Greece where I traveled to and studied primarily Bronze Age ruins. I'd like to travel to other countries with great archaeological sites, particularly Italy and Israel.
I also work for the army reserve in artillery, which takes me to such "exotic" locations as Sault Ste. Marie, Petawawa and Meaford. I am proud to serve my country, and do many interesting things with the army.
One of the things that brings me the most joy in life is fiction. I love to experience new worlds, new stories and new people crafted by authors, scriptwriters and video game designers. I typically read and watch a lot of films and good TV shows. I'm also a sports fan, particularly enjoying baseball (probably a bit too much at times).
I'm very family oriented, and spend a good deal of effort keeping in touch or spending time with with my various family members in both Canada and Glasgow, Scotland. I believe family and faith to be the most important things in life.
