My self-summary
I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently in school, working on my degree in history at University of Houston with a focus on intelligence operations, geopolitical interactions, and American foreign policy throughout the 20th century . I'd like to go to a graduate program for counterterrorism. I'm also a member of the 1-149th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion as an Armament Technician working on the Apache Helicopter and working towards becoming a pilot. It pays for school pretty nicely.

I'm currently learning Arabic and Krav Maga. Which seem culturally opposed by are actually both really cool in their own rights.

My goal when I'm ultimately done with school and my military career is to work for an intelligence agency.
I’m really good at
Krav Maga, hashing with the Houston Hash House Harriers (it's a running club, well more of a drinking club), writing, appreciating the finer things in life, like violent movies, reading, hiking, running, arguing (read discussing), caving, urban exploring, canyoneering, figuring out how things work, shooting, very nerdy pursuits like Magic the Gathering, D&D (v3.5), Warhammer 40k, drinking, singing drunkenly, playing sports like rugby or football.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair, it's like my fifth best feature.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Women -Charles Bukowski (Bukowski's incredibly depraved and misogynistic but he's fun to read.) The God Delusion -Richard Dawkins Catch 22 -Joesph Heller, Dresden Files series, Jim Butcher, Most Chuck Palahniuk books, World War Z- Max Brooks, City of Thieves -David Benioff, Jurassic Park -Michael Crichton, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy -Douglas Adams

Music: Black Flag, The Descendents, Fugazi, Reagan Youth, The Black Keys, Rise Against, Ignite, Immortal Technique, Del tha Funky Homosapien, Jedi Mind Tricks, Dragon Force, Flogging Molly, Alestrom, MSI, Saul Williams, Electric Guest, Charlie Daniels Band, Roger Creager, Dropkick Murphy's, Nirvana, Gentleman's Rule, Whiskey No Chaser and a lot of others.

Really liking 30 Rock, Sherlock, **Firefly**, Community, Archer Doctor Who, Better off Ted, Cowboy Bebop, Battlestar Galactica, Futurama, Avatar became a guilty pleasure for a while, a whole mess of tv shows I can't remember right now. But sci-fi, action, adventure

Jurassic Park (I just fricking love dinosaurs), Anchorman, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Shaun of the Dead, Zombie Land, Airplane, 9th Company, In Bruges, Chasing Amy, Sunshine Children of Men, Clerks, Serenity/Firefly, Black Snake Moan, Generation Kill, Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Crank, Train Spotting, Snakes on a Plane, Pulp Fiction, STARWARS, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Zack and Miri, Inside Man, Franklyn, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill 1&2, Inglorious Basterds, SLC Punk, V for Vendetta, Red Dawn, Slither (I have a Nathan Fillion man-crush, okay?) Shoot 'Em Up, Tae Guk Gi, Super Troopers, War Inc.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, enemies, adventure, good conversation, stiff drinks, and incredible stories.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The world and how we fit into it. Reminding myself how we are on a spinning chunk of rock orbiting around an enormous but relatively tiny ball of nuclear fire.

Sky pirates, giant robots, rail guns, just general sci-fi stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
I rarely have any idea of what I'm going to do from any day. I'm very spontaneous, I suppose.

A list of bars and clubs I frequent so I might be there Boheme, Jet Lounge, Valhalla, The Den, Stereo Live.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once started a forest fire with a machine gun, for America.

Not entirely my fault, but I can tell you the story, it's pretty hilarious.
