I have worked hard to know who I am and to be mentally and physically healthy. I am looking for a partner who really knows what she wants, who she is, and where she wants to go.

I am a good listener. Am caring, thoughtful, and affectionate. I do need my alone time, and will respect yours a well.
I was born and raised in Berkeley, have traveled the world, lived in NY for a dozen years. I have been back in the Bay Area for 13 years now. I love to work and i love to play. Travel is great when I have time. Road trips are essential to happiness.

What I'm doing these days is working on my art practice, planning more travel, and teaching ceramics at various studios around the Bay Area.
I lead an active life, take care of my body and my mind. My life is full with friends and family and work and the rest of those things we do when not at work.

Really looking forward to the day I can take my profile off of this site. Coffee with strangers is fun, and interesting, but not my ideal social life. I would like to meet a woman who likes to get out on the weekends, or even during the week to the beach, the mountains, the museum, or to any kind of show.

I'm a good teacher. I love being in the class room with my students.
I'm a good artist, just hope the rest of the world finds out soon.
I am a really good friend, very loyal. there when you need me.
I'm also good at over booking my time, trying to fix that.
I ski pretty well, like to bike, hike, and also good at sitting through 3 hour movies, unless someone tall is in front of me.
I'm good at problem solving, and fitting all those suitcases in the back of the car.
I'm good at scrabble, boggle , checkers, and ok at chess.
But sometimes water balloons are more fun.
Sometimes I am ridiculously intuitive, and sometimes I haven't got a clue.
And last, I am really good at knowing where all my stuff is , even when the place is in disarray.

Favorite movies: there are so many that I really like. If its well made, then i like it, if its stupid funny comedy, then I have seen it, if its a horror flick, then I am tired of that whole genre. I like indies, blockbusters, action, drama.

Music : I love music, mostly rock, punk, alternative, folk, bluegrass, blues.
Pretty much anything but Britiney Spears-type pop garbage or hardcore rap.
Last career before setting out to be a sculptor was in music. Still really enjoy going to shows, but not in the mosh pit any more.

Books: mostly read history, art history, or art books these days. Fiction in Harpers or the New Yorker. Lots of magazines, art and politics mostly.
