My self-summary
Is it a bear? Is it an used-cars-salesman? Is it an IKEA commercial? No, it is a scraffy looking engineering student originating from Finland with long, slightly curly and often bit tangled hair.

Generally I am very polite and friendly, but that does not stop me voicing more or less controversial opinions or thoughts. I only say those things in better mannered way. That actually often causes me to sound more arrogant than necessary, but I guess that is still a huge improvement when compared to the common gibberish spiked with cusswords. Then again that does not matter much for I am quite often taken as an arrogant bastard, but not always and it is not even quite true when taken. Beneath all that I am fuzzy, benevolent fellow who loves to feel mountain wind or spray of ocean on the skin.

What I’m doing with my life
After few years of wandering around kitchens and beaches of Northern Europe I decided to stay put for a while and get on with my studies. I am in middle of jettisoning my glorious career in the restaurant field and assuming more dignified role in society as a engineer. Yes, the sexiest profession there is and it gets better. I am not studying how to build huge buildings or fearsome motorbikes, nor manly pumping contraptions or similar. I am studying electricity and not even high voltage. Dear gods, if it would not be so damn fun and interesting I might get selfconcious about it.

No, seriously I love to study and I specialise in healtcare electronics , but it is nice to do something with your hands once in a while so I work as a chef or a waiter time to time to earn some much needed money and to maintain my flair and competence in that field.

I’m really good at
There are quite a number of things that I actually excel in and I am not even bragging. On the other hand the list of things in which I am completely inept is not short either.

I have always found mathematics and physics easy as well as cooking. Those are quite convinient skills when you consider my trade(most of those). I am also good at getting along with people and to my private shame also good at selling things to them. Not that I go around hawking things, but at work I have to do it quite a lot.

The first things people usually notice about me
Six feet two of muscle, fat, hair and smile. All that depending on the situation draped in a banquet jacket or a black trenchcoat with a rather large cross embroded in the back. Oh, it must be my wonderful personality that people notice first.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The last year I have read more scientific manuals than fictional books, but I still find time to time some time to indulge myself with a good fictional book. To mention few of my favorite writers: Iain Banks, Chuck Palahniuk, Alexander Dumas, Isaac Asinov, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Food: This comes down to one dividing question. Food to eat and enjoy or food to make. I love sushi and making it, but there is hardly a point of preparing the rice and all other ingredients just for myself. I am once again drifting from the subject. I like fish, raw or prepared, spicy vegetarian stews and indian cuisine. On the contrast I also enjoy cooking and devouring offals(liver is the best part of a carcass) and properly made haggis something truly divine. Oh and fresh pineapple. One must not forget that.

Music: (If I just shut up and give you a list?) Sigur Ros, T.V. Smith, Iron Maiden, Bad Religion, Viikate, Sonata Arctica, Beethoven, Edguy, The Great Big Sea, Counting Crows, Blackmore's night...

I spend a lot of time thinking about
More like daydreaming, but places where I have been and yet to be. People who I have met and who I will meet in future and even meet again.

On a typical Friday night I am
At home or even more likely, at work selling drinks. I might get out to the city if theres a nice gig, but without a proper reason I prefer going out during the week.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Just ask, but how on earth it would be private if I go trumpeting it around the bloody World Wide Web?
