I'm looking for friends here, friends first, and whatever comes of it will come. Well let's see, what can I say about myself? I'm a thinker, and interested in some things, like theoretical physics, history, philosophy, politics, theology, sci-fi/fantasy. I still have a child like wonder and curiosity and view the world as such, anything new and unknown is interesting to me, and everyday there is something new and unknown so I love life!
Despite all these wonderful geeky hobbies of mine I just don't fit in with "that" crowd, or any crowd for that matter because my passions are so varied. For example, I love to play and watch sports and always have, I have a passion for fast cars and motorcycles, I love video games but I don't play them all day everyday (my gamer/techie friends will never get that) I find it a shame though that I actually have to have separate groups of friends, but I find that most people stick to what they know and are interested in, and kinda just stay there. So what I'm looking for is the opposite of that. Someone who can enjoy and discover interests easily and believes that life is too vast for one kind of passion.
I have and I know how to party with the best of them but its a rare once in a blue moon kinda thing to see me in a club...as it should be.
I have no specific physical traits that I look for, and definitely don't have a "type" of woman I like, how could I when women of every race, every culture and every color can be beautiful? You shouldn't have a "type" either. I find having a "type" of person you like to date or hang with shallow and limiting. In fact, look around, and if all your friends and the people you spend time with are from the same place of the same race, same background, and same social economic pool, then you and I probably won't get along. What I would like though is someone who finds this world as amazing and aweinspiring as I do.
My favorite quote,
"Try as much as possible to be wholly alive, with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell and when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough." William Saroyan
