I am a peaceful soul, and enjoy music, art, travel and learning new things. I enjoy reading (anything), especially poetry, Rumi, Stephen Mitchell translations - especially by a fire on cold days. I love entertaining friends at my home and/or watching movies that are about life and love, mixed with laughter. Laughter is very important in my life. I like to go to new places, near and far and learn some new things. I have two wonderful children, 28 and 30 years old. All three of us are educators....(the apple doesn't fall far from the tree). I do enjoy playing cards, games, going to the movies, theater, picnics, walking along the beach, bike riding and much more. I am a confident and successful woman who has a very good life. I am considered by those who know me well as a positive, caring and adventurous person.

Working with schools and educators to make a difference with students - for the past 24 years. After work, I travel locally, nationally and overseas for fun and adventures. I am learning a new language, studying Buddhism, meditating, writing books, eating healthy, exercising, taking classes, meeting friends and going out on dates :)

History, autobiographies, philosophy, spiritual, nature....most movies except vampire, horror and/or violent ones....love the Daily Show and the Colbert Report (keeping it funny)....I watch TV for news and movies, but do not follow any shows.
