My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alright internet world, I'm Becky. I'm originally from West Virginia and absolutely love the mountains. I'm usually sarcastic, a bit of a spit-fire, and full of absurd humor. I'm attempting (if it doesn't kill me) to get my PhD in Economics. School has forced me to be much more serious than I'd prefer, so I try to stay down to earth when I'm not studying or teaching. Though I may not be a party animal, I do like finding new microbrews.

Animal lover of all kinds, except for a select few that scare me, the rest are pretty awesome. I enjoy saying the word "gangsta" every now and then. I don't know, I'm not one to tame who I really am for others.

I DO have tattoos, and my nose is pierced. I play pick-up soccer and swim laps mainly on the weekends. I just recently started playing disc golf, and I'm loving it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm doing the whole grad school thing and discovering all the joys of Knoxville.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I come from a huge family, so I'm pretty good at getting along with a wide variety of people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably the fact that I typically wear glasses or any of my tattoos.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Okay, so books: Pride and Prejudice, the Harry Potter series - I mean let's be serious, the Lord of the Rings (all including prelude: The Hobbit), The Darkest Minds, ANY James Patterson, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (new fave), and this could go on forever...which would include many of the "classics".

Movies: Miracle, The Mighty Ducks (no judgment), The Breakfast Club, Twister, Freedom Writers, The Karate Kid, Pitch Perfect, Schindler's List, Proof of Life, Footloose, Prometheus, cont.

Shows: I LOVE Grey's Anatomy and NCIS, as well as most of the CSIs, Game of Thrones, The Newsroom, True Blood (shamelessly), Gold Rush, Criminal Minds, Family Guy, Tosh.0, White Collar, cont.

Music: NEEDTOBREATHE, Michael Jackson, Gavin DeGraw, Sugarland, Hollywood Undead, Avenged Sevenfold, Arcade Fire...that's the smallest teaser I can think of for you fine people.

Food: I'm all about home-cooked meals, but I also don't mind trying anything new. I could make a Thanksgiving dinner in May and not be ashamed. Truly, I don't tend to be too picky.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A good book
Glasses (ya I can see clearly)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend WAY too much time thinking about my schoolwork - it's just preposterous. If I'm being 100% honest, I attempt to keep my mind clear of anything too heavy or crazy when I'm not at the office.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
These days I am either studying, renting a movie, going out to eat with friends, drinking some long awaited beer, and/or salivating over the fact that I get to sleep in the next day!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sure thing.
