I love movies (drama, comedy, and indie flicks), books that make you think (although a trashy romance novel can be a good thing every now and again), and good music (janis is an all time favorite but my taste is eclectic). I love children, work with 6 teenage boys, and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also appreciate my alone time too. I try to appreciate the little things in life. I love the beach at night, sunsets, and swings. I love to be silly and make people laugh. I have a great love of learning and will soon be attending graduate school. I enjoy traveling but can´t stand to be away from home for more than 2 weeks at a time. I am a very giving person and have a playful spirit (some say I can be a big kid at times). My favorite thing to do is to stay up all night talking about anything and nothing - yet sometimes I like to sleep just so I can dream.
I am looking to meet a woman who likes to have a good time and is a romantic. My idea of a perfect date is a night time picnic in the park under the stars, with wine, music, and good conversation. I would like to meet a woman who I can be myself around and enjoy our time together with the possibility of it growing into something more.

I am a full time house parent, I work in a group home for teenage boys in the foster care system. I love my six boys, even though they drive me nutters on a regular basis. My job makes me feel as though I have an impact in the universe albeit small. I am currently researching schools so that I can finish my masters degree in mental health counseling. Currently I am working on building my life so that in the near future I will be able to truly enjoy my successes.

There are a few things that I am really good at, but mostly they all deal with people, I am a good listener and I like to think of myself as a really good friend. I am also great with kids, I love them and they seem to trust me and warm up to me quickly.

I honestly do not know the answer to this question. I am a rather shy person until you get to know me, so I guess I would have to say that people notice how quite I am. But thats only around new people I warm up quick.

Why Harry Potter of corse! Although I love all kinds of moive, I am a little werid about scary moives but I usually like them once I see it I am just a little freaked out by the thought of a scary moive...I know I'm weird.
I like all kinds of books, I love the Harry Potter books and I often try to go back and read the books the I was assigned in high school but never read(some of them are really good) but for the most part I will read anything, I often just pick my books at random.
Music...I am very open minded when it comes to music, but my favorites are well I really don't know I like evanensence, melissa ethridge, stained, nine inch nails, classical...like I said anything.

The six things I couldn't live without are my Friends, Family, Music, My Car, My ability to think for myself and my education.

life, what it has in store for me, what I am on the earth to do, what kind of life the kids I work with will have in the future. I think alot about my nephews and niece, how much I miss them when I work so much, how much I love them and hope the do wonderful things with their lives and how grateful I am that they have a family that loves them and will always be there for them. My friends and family.

I am either out at the bar with my friends or sitting out side drinking beer, listening to music and enjoying good conversation.

I still sleep with the teddy bear my brother gave me when I was a very sick four year old..his name is purple bear
