I'm curious and interested in just about everything. I hate starting multiple consecutive paragraphs with "I", but I'll do it when forced to write about myself.

I'm a Bright and New Atheist, and somewhat vocal about it. I show a basic level of respect for everyone until they earn more or lose it, but I don't believe that beliefs should be respected. In other words, if someone thinks evolution is bunk and that Stork Delivery Theory is a good alternative to sexual reproduction theory, I will laugh at their beliefs. Repeatedly. If they try to turn those beliefs into policy (esp. education curriculum), I will ridicule them publicly and strive to crush their misguided dreams. But I will still be civil to them in other contexts.

Finishing up my undergrad and working on grad school apps. In my free time, working on hobbies, hanging out with friends, reading, and all that other normal stuff.

Procrastinating, thinking, listening, being a supportive friend, and noticing things. Seriously, I'm perceptive to a creepy fault. When I walk into your flat, I will see the keys on the coffee table, your purse behind the couch, Time magazine on the kitchen table, and 20 other things. An hour later when you ask "where are my keys?" I get to be all creepy and tell you where they are.

It all depends on context... If we're in a bar, probably that I'm trying to squeeze by them to get to my friends or the bar. If at the beach, probably that I have a mask and SCUBA gear on. A large social gathering? Probably that I'm shy and nervous. A smaller one, where most of the attendees are my friends? My smile, confidence, and self-introduction.

Books - anything by: Asimov, Dawkins, Heinlein, Dennett], Sam Harris, Douglas Adams, random science texts, non-fiction, sci-fi, sci-fantasy, the dictionary.

Food - any kind of Korma, Indian food, Filipino food, Thai food, pho, pretty much any combination of meat and rice, meat and cheese, or bread and cheese.

Music - I'll have to update this list later. Love SomaFM, but I like some pop as well. Eccentric musical tastes, but I'm currently listening to one of my favorites, Insde My Mind (Blue Skies) by Groove Armada.

I spent hours trying to pick a username, and I nearly didn't sign up for this site because I lacked the wit to come up with a good one. I'm still not incredibly proud of my username, but it has high efficacy those who are quick to judge.
