Keeping fit by riding my beautiful mare, and doing pilates several times a week. I do some volunteer work, and plan to do more. I spend time both in the bay area and on the east coast in the summer. I like to go out.... art museums, musical events, lectures. I like to go on at least one long trip every year. Last year it was 6 weeks in London and in France, and it was wonderful!

Problem solving, organizing, finding humor in everyday experiences.

Books: "The God of Small things", all of Patrick O'Brian's books, Conrad.
Movies: foreign films, romantic comedies, "La Grande Illusion"
Shows: Can't wait to get to NYC and see "The Book of Mormon"
music: Classical music, opera, R and B, soul.... can live without too much country/ western
food: Summertime fresh fruits and vegetables... especially tomatoes and corn. Good rare roast beef sandwiches on sourdough bread

Coffee in the morning... preferably a latte and preferably qt Peet's
Old friends.... the ones you can let your hair down with and laugh!
Spending time with my grandchildren
Traveling
Lots and lots of books!

Lots of stuff. I'm a daydreamer. I try not to think about problems I can't do anything about, the the political and economic mess in this country.
