My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't like to go out or stay in. I like to hang out in the doorway so I can avoid such options. I'm pretty dissatisfied, but only in the best kind of way. I am certainly not a moderate and feel quite comfortable embracing the label extreme.

I left home at 14 so I had to mature prematurely. My parents sent me to a boarding school right off Melrose Ave. Somehow, they thought it would be a good environment for me.

I'm blasphemous.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm taking a break from my PhD in Political Theory at Cornell and currently doing a JD at NYU Law School. My eventual goal is to become a professor with the patched jacket and all.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sleeping.
Getting my ear plugs to fit snug.
Listening and Talking.
Slappin da bass.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyelashes. I know. Weird. But its true. Many of my girlish friends have been jealous of them. Some have tried to put mascara on them. I tend not to allow that. Not really the make up kinda guy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Mostly Political Theory cause thats what I do. Foucault, Arendt, Rousseau, Marx, Nietzsche, Schmitt. I have way too many books on religion which has made my Atheism all the better--Chesterton's Orthodoxy is the best. I also read anything about aesthetics; colonialism, imperialism and race; and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Movies: I love Woody Allen, Charlie Kaufman, and David Lynch. So I'm thinking Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Blue Velvet, The Big Lebowski, Annie Hall as some of their representative best. Batman is THE man. I like over the top action flicks where one man kills all and also manages to get the girl... or not. Yes, Im thinking Rambo.

Shows: Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Games of Thrones. I have a soft spot for House--not really the show, just the character. My fav classic is Twin Peaks. I was a Trekky as a child, but I also loved Sesame Street back then so don't judge. I certainly still love Manamana.

Food: I love EVERYTHING, but I think it important to point out that I've been going on an Asian Taco marathon lately.

Music: Could modestly be considered eclectic. The contemporary stuff includes Miike Snow, Lykke Li, M83, Delta Rae, Grimes, etc. etc. When I'm working, Tchaikovsky is in the background. And Miles Davis's version of My Funny Valentine has a special place in my heart. I have a great love for Old School Tiesto and occasionally have the desire to throw on some glow sticks and get lost in the flow of the rave. And the answer is YES: Electronic music is not all bass; it can be quite pretty.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
