My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Despite my rampant use of sarcasm, I'm secretly a very nice guy. My sense of humor is big on comedy.

I'm an INTJ, if you're into that. Though I think the I and the J are up for debate.

Juuuuust moved here from San Francisco.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to balance the pursuit of:

Intellectual Stimulation
Physical Stimulation
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Poaching eggs, witty retorts, good puns, terrible puns, Adobe Photoshop. I don't know if I'd say "I'm really good at" Scrabble, but you'll probably lose if you play me. Also humility.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Curly hair, a beard (roughly 60-70% of the time), sharp tongue, quick wit, generally affable, a good listener and easy to talk to.

Many have remarked that I am "SUCH a Sagittarius," but in the spirit of this question, it probably wasn't the first thing they noticed.

Update: My beard is about 300% thicker and has begun to climb up the rankings of things people notice about me first.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Current: The War on Drugs, Mac DeMarco, Tame Impala, Thee Oh Sees, Parquet Courts, Courtney Barnett, Ty Segall, Action Bronson, Run the Jewels

Not so current: Pavement, Radiohead, Wu-Tang, Belle & Sebastian, Sonic Youth, The Replacements, Ween, shoegaze, proto/post-punk, 90s/00s indie/hip-hop

Podcasts: Comedy Bang Bang, The Champs, K Ohle, U Talkin' U2 to Me, improv4humans, Topics, WTF and YMIW when they have good guests.

Books: I should probably read a lot more, but I like Pynchon and David Foster Wallace. I mostly read non fiction about history, sociology or modern psychology. Or about food.

Film: Reservoir Dogs, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Mulholland Drive, Days of Heaven, Synecdoche NY, Inside Llewyn Davis (basically all Coen Bros except for the shitty ones).

Mad Max is obviously the shit and I hope it becomes a big influence in the future.

TV: Breaking Bad, The West Wing, X-Files, Curb/Seinfeld, good sketch comedy (Monty Python, The State, Mr. Show, Key & Peele, Mitchell & Webb, Inside Amy Schumer), Billy on the Street, Broad City, Workaholics. My guilty pleasures are shows like Bar Rescue or Restaurant Stakeout, where they put surveillance in a shitty bar/restaurant to spy on the negligent employees, usually resulting in hilarity.

Food: Food is probably the best thing. I like super spicy food, and probably eat too much pork. Modern Mexican and South/SE Asian are my two faves. I think celery is the most vile thing in the world and Italian food is incredibly overrated. Favorite fruits/vegs include: Tomatoes, kale, arugula, pineapple, avocados, eggplant, cauliflower, berries.

Also quite into beer, preferably the high ABV, balanced and flavorful variety. IPAs and strong Belgian beers are my faves.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Genuine human connections, kitchen gadgetry, google maps, good food, sarcastic and witty banter, stimulating/inspiring art/entertainment.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I'm going to cook for dinner, absurd hypotheticals, whether the person I'm talking to will be able to take a joke or not.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I go out on Wednesdays/Thursdays nearly every week, so usually I just want to stay in, cook a nice dinner and go to bed at a reasonable time on Fridays. It's kind of an amateur night for going out anyway.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a somewhat troubling seltzer addiction, and have a hard time trusting people who don't like spicy food or dogs. Or who have Ayn Rand listed as a favorite author.

I can occasionally be a bit snobby about certain things, but I try not to be a dick about it, and believe in the importance of discovering common ground. If you refer to yourself as a "polymath," there's very little chance I'm going to be able to take you seriously.

It annoys me when people say they're a "Die hard fan" of something, unless they're a fan of the film series Die Hard.

You don't take yourself seriously, but you take joking around VERY seriously.

You're smart and funny; I like smart and funny
