Retirement is my celebration in my end zone. How do I celebrate?....with giggling grandchildren...sunrises and sunsets...reading...enjoying family times...spending a quiet evening at home with a dear friend...dining out...music.... the gym...walking..laughing at myself...participating in stimulating discussions...exploring new interests...following a healthy food plan

How do you celebrate?

Enjoying family since I have returned/retired as a NYS social worker after 20 years in Manhattan. Spending as much time with family, especially grandchildren...I volunteer, deciding whether to get a part time job or kick up my volunteer efforts (considering volunteering to simply sit with people dying without family/friends) ...Upolstering antiques...improving my organizational skills with regard to "stuff"...considering dating again.....have you ever said if I only knew then what I know now? Well, now I do know...do you?

Come grow old with me...our best is yet to be!

listening..caring...cherishing....massaging...helping others to reach decisions about their life, not mine...using my sense of humor to deal with absurdities of life...not having you change because I think it's a good idea...Sometimes, even I think it is a good idea... nothing changes with me....stumbling across serendipity!

My smile...my short height (a complete oxymoron)...my energy, serenity and punny humor.... these have all been documented by one compliment or another. Except the puns...they are accompanied by groans.

Most mystery novels, espionage and miscellaneous themes..psychology and professional books. Did I forget cookbooks?

I usually watch movies on my computer/television using my Boxy Box. However my grandchildren invited me to view Harry Potter movies at the theater.

My favorite shows, include but not limited to,,.The Lion King, The Sound of Music, Aida, La Boheme, to name a very few...Finally, any and all productions my grandchildren are in.

Appreciate most music...used to play symphonies quietly in the background while counseling clients in Manhattan...going to a live jazz concert...you can listen to Frank Sinatra with me...anytime...I have his entire collection on my computer.

Food?...what's not to like? Especially Italian, seafood, ethnic. Seriously, I maintain a healthy weight with a modified WW food plan and reading " eat this...not that" books. Taught Home Economics years ago...do not like cooking for one. Almost forgot...use fresh ingredients...those that come out of the ground or have had a momma.
