My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Southern girl at heart who spent two years after college in Michigan working in the auto industry. I'm so grateful to be back in NC and looking to connect deeper into the community. I'm constantly looking for new exciting things to try, ways to better myself, and ways to give back.

I do have my own place, a car, a degree, and a steady job. I know everyone goes through rough patches, but please have a majority of these if you're going to write me. I've worked hard to get where I am and I value people who do the same. Have personal goals and be working towards them.

I'm ultimately looking for someone I get along with well, who has goals similar to mine. While I'm looking to go out and have fun, I'm not looking for a "casual" relationship. I can take things slow and not rush into major commitment, but I am looking for someone who I can have fun with and who I can settle down and have a family with in time.

I'm an introvert (INFJ, if it matters to you) and hate talking about myself, but if you want to know anything, just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working in financial services and loving my job. I'm evaluating grad school options if/when I choose to pursue a master's degree.

For awhile I was in a job that involved a bit of travel, and I love seeing new places and exploring and hope to continue to do so for pleasure.

I lead a personal finance class through my church and recently completed training to be a budget counselor.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a complete personal finance nerd. I'm very organized and make lists and spreadsheets for everything.

I'm pretty decent at bar trivia if anyone's interested in that. I played on a regular basis in Michigan but haven't found people to play with in NC.

Books: Harry Potter series, Much Ado About Nothing, The Scarlet Letter, The Millionaire Next Door, Convergence Culture, the Bible. Nearly any personal finance book is interesting to me, I like reading other perspectives.

Movies: The Dark Knight, LotR, most musicals, Frankenstein, Labyrinth, Sense and Sensibility, Wedding Crashers, Love Actually, Waitress, Much Ado About Nothing.

Shows: LOST, Mad Men, Castle, Once Upon a Time, Arrested Development, Friends. Every so often I revert to my 90's kid roots and watch Boy Meets World.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. What career/life path to pursue, how to serve others, how to become the best person I can be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing trivia with a friend or two, recuperating from the work week.

Now that it's hockey season I love going to a Checkers game when I can.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't own a television. It makes those TV trivia questions harder.

You are interested in getting to know someone before jumping into things too fast.

Please use correct spelling and grammar. If you don't, it either tells me that you didn't pay attention in English class, or you don't respect yourself or me enough to care about how you write.
