My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I hail from one of five BBC featured "Places That Don't Exist." In the past year, I have been to Washington St. (Olympic National Park), Seattle, Peru (Machu Picchu), Brazil (Rio and Manuas Amazonas), Boston, and San Francisco! SCUBA diving, indoor skydiving, and photography (street/nature/astronomy) were also some recent experiences connecting me to nature and nostalgia. I am very actively exploring new/old cities/towns, concerts, street festivals, clubs, balls, theatre, classes/workshops, restaurants, and bars and am looking for a companion to share fun experiences with.

The diverse experiences began with the familiar story of parental sacrifices--uprooting to the US when I was a tender age of eight. I was a shy academic--8th grade math in fifth grade and testing in Honors English in HS among other achievements. By the second decade of "Cheesedom," I was determined to excel physically as well as academically. I had trained almost a decade to the strongest (pound-for-pound) in the gym while playing competitive baseball, football, and softball. I was one of the couple college freshmen in linear algebra; certainly the only one who happened to be on the football team.

As manager and player, I led my vice-champion intramural co-ed softball team with my wits and at-bats (and glove). What appeared to be a tragedy, struck when I sprained a MCL while beating out a grounder. Life has a funny way of turning us onto different paths as I discovered dance and the joy that escaped me in the first brief stint in college when commitment was lacking.

In ballroom dancing, I consistently won or was a finalist. I excelled and continue to excel through perseverance. I seek substantive understanding for a few subjects at a time and talk through action. My nature is still really quiet though my loving circle of friends will attest: I am anything but boring! Life is a journey better shared with a good friend! What are you waiting for?!
