My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just moved from Greenwich Village to Hoboken (I'm only 10 minutes from the City).

I love to travel, am independent and outgoing, but at the same time love to laugh at myself (I also tend to overuse emoticons when I text; it's true...).

I don't take myself too seriously; a fact I hope was alluded to by my profile name.

I'm comfortable with math and science, but also love acting (acted in a student film in college), singing, writing, and learning about different cultures.

I adore ballet, love yoga, visiting museums, and watching theatre & musicals, but also enjoy staying in great shape, motorcycling, bungee-jumping, and scuba-diving (got my license in a Dolphin reef) as well.

As you are all well aware, it's difficult to paint a picture of who you are when confined to this little box, so please feel free to write or IM me. I promise I'm not as humorless as my pictures would make me seem. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spend the majority of my free time writing, and the rest of the time I spend trying to get toight like a toiger.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think saying that I'm really good at anything would be a bit of a reach, but I've been told that I'm emotionally perceptive and expressive.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I guess that I seem self-assured.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I enjoy a wide range of nonfiction such as Robert Pirsig's "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", Judith Herman's "Trauma and Recovery", and Stephan Mitchell's "Can Love Last?: The Fate of Romance Over Time".

I read a lot of SciFi/Fantasy when I was younger, but now can pretty much enjoy any well-written work of fiction. I most recently enjoyed Capote's "Breakfast at Tiffany's," James Baldwin's "Another Country," Madeline Miller's "The Song of Achilles," Philip Roth's "Portnoy's Complaint," Zora Neale Hurston's "Their Eyes Were Watching God," and Aldous Huxley's "Those Barren Leaves,"... oh, and I love reading Dan Savage (Yay for being GGG!).

I'm a bit picky about movies but of newer films I loved: Tim's Vermeer, The Great Beauty, Blue Is The Warmest Color, The Sessions, A Single Man, True Grit, Love Actually, Blue Valentine, Waste Land, The September Issue, The Tree of Life, Miss Representation, and The Artist.

I'll try any type of food twice, and while my musics tastes are varied and I enjoy artists like Muse, Oasis, IAMX, Lady Gaga, DeGuetta, Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto, etc., I currently mostly listen to indie/electro rock playlists that I compile.

Update: Really getting into EDM now. As in; I love to dance at clubs. Like, actually dance, not to meet peeeples.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I can't seem to write something that doesn't make me come off as a pretentious ass... "Never" is a strong word, don't you think? :)

I do like to stay in shape, and am a voracious reader.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fictional stories I'd like to write. Gender. How we form our identities and how much of it is determined by our respective backgrounds (Kudos to Diaz's "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao").
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Studying CS for fun, grabbing drinks with friends, visiting museums, seeing plays or dance performances, going to Indie-Rock concerts, dancing, or having some amazing wines/meats/cheese at home with a friend while watching a great movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very open-minded in all facets of my life (read: verrry GGG), I appreciate fashion, I don't follow professional sports, and I've greatly enjoyed taking ballet classes in the past - I now do yoga instead.

Also, sometimes, I can't even.
