My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**Going to be in South America until Sept 4th! Talk then!**

I am outgoing, love to travel, and love laughing at myself (I also tend to overuse emoticons when I text; it's true...).

I don't take myself too seriously; a fact I hope was alluded to by my profile name. :)

I'm comfortable with math and science, but also love acting (acted in a student film in college), singing, reading, writing, and learning about different cultures.

I enjoy ballet, visiting museums, and watching theatre & musicals, but also enjoy working out, motorcycling, bungee-jumping, and scuba-diving (got my license in a Dolphin reef) as well. I'm also a voracious reader/audiobook listener.

As I'm sure you already know, it's difficult to paint a picture of yourself when confined to this little box, so please feel free to write or IM me. I promise I'm not as humorless as my pictures would make me seem. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spend the majority of my free time writing, or working on other side projects. The rest of the time I spend trying to get toight like a toiger.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read a lot of SciFi/Fantasy when I was younger, but now can pretty much enjoy any well-written work of fiction. I most recently enjoyed Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath," Maugham's "Of Human Bondage," Capote's "Breakfast at Tiffany's," James Baldwin's "Another Country," Madeline Miller's "The Song of Achilles," Zora Neale Hurston's "Their Eyes Were Watching God," and Aldous Huxley's "Those Barren Leaves,".

I'm a bit picky about movies but of newer films I loved: Tim's Vermeer, The Great Beauty, Blue Is The Warmest Color, The Sessions, A Single Man, True Grit, Love Actually, Blue Valentine, Waste Land, The September Issue, The Tree of Life, Miss Representation, and The Artist.

I'll try any type of food twice (first reaction never counts).

I used to listen to a lot of Indie/Electro Rock, I'm now really getting into EDM, which I'm trying to learn to compose.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I like to stay in shape, and am a voracious reader.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fictional stories I'd like to write. Gender. How we form our identities and how much of it is determined by our respective backgrounds (Kudos to Diaz's "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao").
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Grabbing drinks with friends, visiting museums, seeing plays or dance performances, going to Indierock concerts, raves, dancing, or having some amazing wines/meats/cheese over conversation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I appreciate fashion, have enjoyed taking ballet classes in the past, and sometimes do yoga (though I mostly lift now).

Also, sometimes, I can't even.
