My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there,
I'm a nice, outgoing for the most part, fun to be with, intelligent, honest, well rounded guy looking for my partner in crime. I grew up in the area and even went to college here and have done everything from running my own business to being a blackjack dealer to working for Uncle Sam.
You can find me doing many things ranging from playing sports (I think I've played almost every sport there is including cricket) to making grilled pasta primavera. I enjoy spending time with friends and making them laugh even if it's at my own expense and pride myself on being a well rounded person. I've been known to do a few crazy things every now and then just to keep life interesting and am pretty independent.
But more importantly, I'm a guy you won't have to be afraid of bringing home to your parents because more often than not, they end up liking me too much and you'll find yourself having to pry me from their fingers.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
These days, I find myself auditing government travelers (I could tell you stories, but that's for another time!) and answering travel policy questions when not enjoying the confines of my nice apartment. Obviously it would be nice if I could say I was spending every weekend with this really awesome, kickass girl, but one day right?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Ping pong, calculating the tip at a restaurant in my head, driving (I actually drove buses back in college), throwing a football or baseball, investing, making apple pies, dancing, reading quickly, playing the piano , making a girl feel wanted and being creative.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There's this very tall redheaded blue eyed guy standing next to them. This is usually followed by "Did you play basketball?" (yes I did) or maybe it's the fact that I wear hearing aids. (I love being able to get away with selective hearing. ;) ) Don't worry, I'm sure to listen to every word you say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Hmm, I need to sit down with a good book as I haven't done that in a while. I read the Washington Post every day but my favorite movies would have to be Forest Gump, the original Star Wars, and a few others. Some current shows I like are Law and Order SVU, Blue Bloods, Suits, and Two and a Half Men. I like bands such as U2, REM, the WHO, Cold Play (I'll turn in my man card later) and Collective Soul to name a few. I'll eat anything except squash, cauliflower, and zucchini for the most part.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Water, food, insulin, shelter, a job to provide the prior three things, and sleep (preferably every 24 or so hours) :)

I'm not the guy who will tell you he will die if he doesn't watch American Idol or have coffee in the morning. ;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much the accident rate would fall down if people actually followed one another at a safe distance on the roads, why the music scene these days seems to be far worse than what I grew up with in the '90s, would the world be a better place if it gave up technology or no, why am I even on this site? Hopefully you'll be the answer to that last thought. ;)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends or at a young professionals event.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I accidentally walked into a women's bathroom when I was in the Netherlands. (I don't speak or read Dutch) I didn't wait to hear the screams that were sure to follow. Instead I high tailed it out of there.

you want someone who can change your perception of men (somewhat :-P ) and aren't afraid to actually meet someone who will talk to you and challenge you on an emotional, physical and intellectual level. Also it helps if you haven't recently escaped from a mental institution or belong in one, know that the Earth is smaller than the Sun (so many people on here seem to get that question wrong), can make me laugh, are down to earth and know what kiddush is.
