I'm a guy that enjoys most things, from relaxing and watching a movie to going out for a hike. I'm a volunteer firefighter, which keeps me busy. It's something that I love and would hate to ever have to give up. I enjoy helping others and this allows me to do it in a way that I know truly makes a difference and allows me to help them in a way that not many can. I also get the chance to learn new things everyday, which is one of my favorite things about it. The excitement of everything I've learned and done as a result of it is amazing. I'm into politics. I work for a politician. I would someday like to run for office. I think government is also a place you can really make a difference. While I'm conservative on some issues, I'm more moderate on others. I enjoy debating people because it keeps me on top of my game. I think it's better to be able to say why you're right than why the other side is wrong. I also love history. History is a part of us all and we truly learn from the past. If we do not know our history, we are doomed to repeat it, so I try to keep my eyes open. I'm open to most types of music, literature, and entertainment. I'll give it all a chance. I do care a lot about my friends and family, which is something I've noticed everyone says on here. I wonder if anyone says they hate their friends and family, that would be something new to see.

I'm looking for a woman that knows what she wants out of life or is on her way to finding out. I like a woman that will stand up for herself and work hard for what she wants. I want a woman that is interested in trying new things and new experiences, but is just as happy to sit back and relax sometimes. I think it's kind of hard to describe who you want because how can you know if you haven't met her yet. I think you kind of have to figure it out as you go. I really don't know if anyone can say what they want in a woman exactly and I imagine they could be happy forever with someone who doesn't exactly match their criteria. I just want to see where the universe leads me.

I work in politics and am also a firefighter. When that's not keeping me busy, I'm up for having fun.

Well, I'm 6'4", so I'm going to guess that is probably the first thing that people notice.

I love books about government, politics, and history, but I am up for reading most anything. It really helps expand the mind. I like most movies and rarely walk away from a movie without being able to say something good about it. Horror movies are a personal favorite, but I like it all. I like most music. I like it all from classical to today, but the music from the 60s to the early 90s is when most of my favorite music was made. I'm up for trying most kinds of food, you never know what you'll like.
