My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just moved to Gainesville on account of wage slavery, and can't wait to start feeling out the stuff to do and meeting some neat people. Pretty serious about work at the moment, but I'm trying to make time for the good stuff in life! I'm always up for any kind of outdoors, physical activities; I try to make fitness a way of life as much as I can. That said, I fully appreciate sophisticated pursuits such as drinking beer and catching every episode of the Walking Dead.

I sometimes wish I had a "type" of person I'm looking for, but I'm really all over the place. It's been my experience that some personalities just click the right way in spite of what might seem like huge differences, and I love it when that happens! In terms of my own personality... Everybody always says they're easy-going, but I'm the real deal there. I just think that life's *way* too short to obsess over the small things, and if you get caught up in those you'll miss the good stuff. I forgive minor faults when I can, and I actually enjoy it when things don't go quite as planned, because you gotta be ready for anything! I love some intelligent conversation, even though I'll be the last person to promise that I've always got something smart to say. I feel like a lot of people these days are desperately trying to be expert critics of anything and everything around them, but for my part, I find that everything goes a little more smoothly when I seek out the good things rather than highlight the bad. I give people a lot more credit for trying to do something and occasionally screwing it up than for always sitting on the sidelines!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, eating, sleeping. Working. Running. Typing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being horrible at karaoke!
The first things people usually notice about me

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books? Killers Angels, A Brief History of Time, One Hundred Years of Solitude, You Are Not a Gadget, or really any book with pretty shiny pictures

Movies? This is tough! The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, Star Wars 4-6, Indiana Jones 1-3 (Harrison Ford mancrush), Serenity, Under Siege, Heat, Reservoir Dogs, The Big Lebowski, Superbad, Blazing Saddles, Dawn of the Dead, The Road, The Thing.

Shows? The Walking Dead. Firefly. Star Trek. Honestly, I feel like most shows fall apart pretty quickly so it's hard to nail down which ones stand out.

Music? Not so partial to country or hard rock, but you know, there are all kinds of songs I like in those categories too, so I guess I'm not even going to bother. I will say that I own more music by the Killers than anything else.

Food? Um.... I'll eat pretty much anything :|

Astrophysics, design theory, life, the universe, everything, and cookies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sweaty. For at least part of the night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have thoroughly deep conversations with my cats.
