My self-summary
NOTE - We're moving to Denver in July. Miari is my partner in all things; connecting with her is key to anything beyond just friends. Her bio is meant to warn off single contacts, FYI.

My name is Sean Patrick. I believe in True Love, Happily Ever After, and Living Life. I am an RPG Industry professionally, have written and designed material for over 2 decades. I am a frequent guest at many cons, and I also have some Rennie experience. An "Old School" geek, I am still very social, and I have an amazing number of friends literally all over the world. I love to travel, and wish to see more of our world. I am a gamer, through and through, primarily of the "toss the dice" variety, but I enjoy lots of other interests.

Miari, my lady, shares so many of these same qualities. We are truly matched, but we also have a great deal of passion and love to share, poly style, with the right people with the right frame of mind.
What I’m doing with my life
My usual convention bio -

Sean Patrick Fannon has been professionally involved in RPGs and interactive entertainment for the last 20+ years of his life. Starting in 1988, Sean began writing freelance articles and game reviews for small roleplaying game magazines and fan `zines. He then started writing books for the world-famous Champions RPG (at one point becoming the Continuity Director of the Champions Universe). Sean also wrote for such properties as the Shatterzone RPG and the Star Wars RPG, as well as Shadis Magazine, Adventurer's Club Magazine and Dragon Magazine for TSR.

Off and on, Sean's spent time in the digital gaming mines; sadly, most of the projects he was involved in went down the Development Hell Hole, but he gained tremendous experience working on them. He also got to see a huge amount of the country, living in such places as Los Angeles, CA; Raleigh, NC; Jacksonville Beach, FL; and Petaluma, CA.

Sean is the author of the hobby-defining _The Fantasy Roleplaying Gamer's Bible_, and is the creator and author of all things Shaintar (the epic fantasy setting for Savage Worlds). _Shaintar: Legends Arise_ and an entire series of products in that line is scheduled to come out from his publishing company, Evil Beagle Games, in 2014 and beyond. Also part of his publishing efforts is the hobby-changing Suzerain Continuum - a cosmological sandbox featuring the greatest creators, genres, and systems in gaming!

In addition to his writing and development work, Sean's been deeply involved in helping build the business of gaming; he spent a couple of years as the Events Coordinator and Communications Associate for GAMA, and he was the Marketing & Communications Manager for DriveThruRPG. One of his proudest achievements so far as been his involvement in collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in support for Haiti, Pakistan (via Doctors Without Borders) and Toys for Tots, all thanks to the amazing community of gamers he reached through DriveThruRPG.
I’m really good at
I'm really good with people. Especially creative folks. I tend to bring lots of folks together for fun and to do wonderful things.

Communications, promotions, marketing - these are a major part of who I am and what companies - and creative professionals - value about me.

My greatest passion, and the thing I am probably best known for, is my capacity for storytelling and running a damn fine game.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm big. Less big than I used to be (lost over 100 pounds so far), but I ain't small. I smile and laugh easily, have eyes that apparently don't fail to entice, and I am about as socially fearless as any human being you've ever known or will likely ever meet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm pretty much into all the geek stuff, and I tend to have a higher tolerance for cheese and cinematic fluff than most. Can't do horror, not interested in "Twilight," but "The Princess Bride" is simply the most wonderful movie ever.

The "real Star Wars" movies rule, as do the "Lord of the Rings" movies. "Firefly/Serenity." "Babylon 5."

Love comic books, especially team books like the Avengers and the Justice League.

Need to get back to reading more. Last great books I read were by Guy Gavriel Kaye. All of them.
The six things I could never do without
1) Miari and "Spawn" - My One, and my daughter. Period.

2) Family - Both of blood and of choice, and equally.

3) Gaming - It is a defining part of who I am, and I make no apologies for it. I express the best of myself via the medium.

4) Mexican food - Seriously, I gotta have my nachos.

5) A means to write - My laptop preferably, but I must have some what to put words down for people to look at.

6) Dogs - They are the finest people I know.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Geeky stuff, especially RPGs and building worlds for interactive storytelling. It really is a central part of who I am.

As well, I spend a great deal of time thinking about how to make the world a better place, but I admit that I grow weary of screaming into the wind...
On a typical Friday night I am
With my loved ones and friends, and we are gaming, enjoying some kind of geek-friendly activity together, and often winding the evening up with some intimate, expressive time together (those that Miari and I embrace for such things, that is).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I actually live my life very openly; some say I do so too readily, but I long ago gave up trying to keep secrets or live with masks. It's just not who I am.
I’m looking for
  • Bi girls only
  • Ages 28–60
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
You are interested in meeting geeky gamer friends. More is possible, but we are very selective and poly-effery isn't really our thing. New friends are always welcome. We can even loan you dice!
