My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an easy going guy from a conservative family. I live in NJ but commute to NYC for work. I also go to school part-time, so between all my work and school commitments its sometimes difficult to meet people. Many of my coworkers recommend the bar scene, but I dislike that kind of social party lifestyle and am looking for something more traditional. This seems like a contradiction, but maybe online is the way to go =3
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in finance/accounting at a media advertising firm. Currently doing a part-time MBA. Whenever I can squeeze in some free time, I like to relax by watching movies, TV shows, and playing video games <= big video game nerd.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

I've always been interested in reading about history, especially about military history in ancient Rome and medieval Europe. Also a big science fiction fan - love the Stargate franchise.

Recent interests in my life:
Movies - Ender's Game, The Hobbit
Books - Halo: Mortal Dictata, do textbooks count?
Shows - Vikings, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones
Games - Final Fantasy XIV
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Air
2. Food/Water/Shelter
3. Family
4. Internet

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life. I find myself pondering a lot about how my actions can add meaning and value to my life. I'm also pretty curious, always marveling at things around me. For example, sometimes I find myself amazed at the engineering ingenuity of buildings in the city when I walk from the train station to the office. Often times I'll think about how people back in the 18th century would have been amazed seeing what humanity has achieved today, and how much more potential there may be tomorrow.

Christopher Tin's "Baba Yetu" sums up the above sentiment pretty neatly for me. Also helps that its the first video game music to ever win a grammy (link below).

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either catching up on homework or playing video games. No late night drinking for me >=(

They should ask a weekend question instead. By Friday night I'm usually exhausted after a long week of work/school...just want to crash and sleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not that good at basketball
