I am, first and foremost, a geek. I've managed to leverage this into a career writing software.

I used to be all about the punk rock. I still am, but since my old home closed down, I've sort of found other things to do in addition to shows.

I read all the time, but I never seem to read the books that new New Yorkers are reading. I think that's because I don't find David Sedaris amusing in the least.

I've lived in New York all my life, starting life in Brooklyn, being moved to Long Island, then coming back home to Brooklyn once again. I like to see other places, but I don't know if I'd ever leave here permanently.

I like geeks, open minded people, bookworms, activists, gamers, aspiring supervillains, and people who aren't afraid to be who they are. Seriously, most of my friends are madpersons, so sanity is optional.

I wonder how telling it is that the four things I am the biggest fan of are Douglas Adams, Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes, and Godzilla.

I work a lot, but not excessively so. I enjoy what I do, so it's not necessarily a bad thing.

I also spend a lot of time balancing my different groups of friends, and occasionally some fun travel time is involved in that.

I read a lot, but mostly while in transit. I also have been expanding my enjoyment of genre films. Indie horror, drama, and even epic films in three dimensions about fish who eat people.

I also always find time to school someone in Street Fighter or Tekken. I also always look forward to the next interesting debate or conversation.

Making people feel better about themselves. Making people feel stupid. Making people feel stupid for not feeling better about themselves. Being Godzilla.

I'm much better at talking about myself than writing about myself, because I don't know what's appropriate for a generic audience.

I find many things funny, and I laugh loud enough that the entire room knows.

It's also often noticed that I am usually a better deterrent in any place than the actual bouncer is.

Some notice that I walk very carefully, lest things in my way end up no longer where they once were.

I guess the unifying factor is I'm large. My friend swears she's seen my S.A.G. card from when I played a cave troll. And King Kong.

BOOKS: the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Lord of the Rings, Beowulf, Anything by Alan Moore, pretty much anything by Philip K Dick, and anything about the history of wars, organized crime, or serial killers.
I tend to read a lot of graphic novels, and trade paper comic books about stuff nobody seems to have heard of. I think it's because most of my friends are aspiring super villains.

MOVIES: Star Wars, Memento, The 7 Samurai, Yojimbo, Naked, Ghost Dog, John Carpenter's The Thing, Black Dynamite, Blazing Saddles, More...

MUSIC: Motorhead, The 4 Skins, Iggy and the Stooges, The Cockney Rejects, The Anti-Nowhere League, The Epoxies, The UK Subs, Sheer Terror, Sick of it All, Killing Time, Jimi Hendrix, Toots and the Maytals, Laurel Aitken, Bolt Thrower, Beethoven, Laibach, anything you can convince me will kick my ass.

FOOD: I like cooking. So, if I can make it, I'll most likely enjoy it.

My friends, my cell phone, my job, my laptop, my desktop rig, and my books.

I don't get why people keep putting "water" in this, I mean that's sort of a given. I guess they should rename the section "six things you rather enjoy and would prefer never to have to do without", but you know then everyone would just put "sex" or something. No, they'd probably still put "water".

Dinner, movies, and now, home. I finally have an apartment worthy of entertaining, so I'm keen on inviting a few people over, sitting in the yard, or the living room, and hanging out.

On a less typical Friday night I'd probably be at some convention, or a show.

I once worked for NASA in Houston when I was 16. No, wait, that was the most AWESOME thing I was willing to admit. Wrong section, I guess.

I guess the BIG secret I'm not ACTUALLY made of brass knuckles, as many suspect...

Also, when it was time for everyone in high school to choose a sport to participate in, i decided to forgo Football, and joined the Fencing team. As such, I'm pretty competent in a sword fight, should the need arise...

Finally, I'm shy. My mother, however, raised me to be a public speaker. This ends up coming off as me not being shy at all, and lands me in situations where I can't talk to a woman I like, but I can talk to the entire room around her.

You feel up to it. You feel like having a funny conversation on an off-beat topic. You think you can kick my ass in Soul Calibur, Tekken, or Street Fighter. You want to hear about the time I was inadvertently a human projectile, and the 4 truck shocks that were tragically destroyed as a result.
