My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am outgoing and energetic, curious about life and people. I value intelligence, grounded-ness, connection, creativity, courage and enthusiasm. I am curvy, tall, and fit. I seek companions on the journey who are fascinated by and share their inner territory. I have a strong ability to stay present with all life has to offer. I have an enviable life, filled with kind and giving people, artistry, intelligence, physical vitality, spiritual depth, and a rich relationship with the natural world. I love good food and silliness. While I have spent many years focused on the life of the mind, and almost always love intellectual inquiry, my current edge is to explore ways of knowing through the body, specifically through the practices of Authentic Movement and yoga. I also have some experience with Orgasmic Meditation practice. I have a deep sense of the sacred and the imperative to serve it, but am not at all religious in a traditional way. I am not nterested in Astrology. I am drawn to others who have depth, who are really smart and open minded, warm to the world, and who insist on caring for themselves well in all areas.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a graduate school and love supporting people learning and growing into their gifts. I am making art, riding my bike, walking the earth, and cherishing connection with friends while exploring the depth and breadth of intimacy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Living simply. Scavenging. Creating outrageously beautiful things. Nourishing myself physically and spiritually. Listening and expressing myself. Being generous, kind and light . Sleeping. Punctuation. Connecting people with other people who they need to know.

I love a lot of music! Lately I've been listening to The Weepies, Mike Doughty, City and Colour, and Beck. Some of my other favorites are Citizen Cope, Dave Matthews, Michael Franti. Rickie Lee Jones, Sinead O'connor, Jamie Sieber, and Ray Lamontayne, to name a few. I also love a lot of international music, especially African and Latin - mostly with acoustic instruments rather than electronica. Club music, heavy metal, and much of pop music don't really speak to me. I get a big kick out of Postmodern Jukebox covers.

I love many films and watch when I can find the time, but I don't watch tv. Well ok, I confess, I burned through Game of Thrones on DVD and am getting addicted to The Newsroom. I love foreign and independent films as well as some mainstream movies in most genres, with the exception of horror and violent action. Some recent ones that have stood out to me are: Incendies, Moonrise Kingdom, Cyrus, The Avengers, Crazy Stupid Love, Jane Eyre. Some favorites are: Memento, Lord of the Rings, Moonstruck, Fight Club, Michael Clayton, Serenity.

I am a huge book lover and am always dipping into something. I love natural history and fiction, including a range of speculative fiction, after too many years knocking my head against heavy duty philosophy and the like. Honestly, after graduate school, I now more often read the book of myself, as Krishnamurti says. Currently I'm reading about Labyrinths and walking one daily. I like David Deide and David Richo on relationships and being a grown up. While I don't often read CG Jung in the original any more, depth psychology is very key to my way of understanding myself and others.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
open-ended time
the wild
TOUCH, creativity and play
Good sleep
senseless beauty
really good food every day
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What makes people tick and why we do what we do. How I can listen better and be more compassionate so that I can understand that. (And why does it seem nearly impossible for people to actually answer "the most private thing" question!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Practicing introversion and re-filling the well. Doing something simple and relaxing, like having a good meal, and early bed.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I seriously do not believe in pajamas. Except maybe at a pajama snuggle. Google Cuddle Sanctuary.
