My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Cinephile, trivia junkie, scientist and F1 fan seeks not necessarily the same, but a genuine connection with someone. Was abroad for five years so reconnecting with people and places, first time in London so wishing to see more of the city with someone
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Having spent many years in research science I've moved over into management and the commercialisation of healthcare innovations - really enjoying the change, and still get to work with stem cells 'n' the like
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Guessing a song for the first few seconds played, remembering lines from films, remembering birthdays, the useful stuff then... Have also been a lead fundraiser for children's and cancer charities over the past few years raising awareness and as much money as possible
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my smile (sounds a bit sycophantic) - it's just what most people comment on
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Generally autobiographies and non-fictions - often much more interesting and fascinating then things that are made up

Movies: So many faves as major film fan - About a Boy, Fight Club, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Black Swan, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, American Beauty - Transformers was dumb but I loved it, 80s movies, animated films (Kung Fu Panda was amazing, I was raised on a solid staple of Disney films), so I like pretty much anything except horror and those über gore-for-gore's-sake movies

TV: Grand Designs, The IT Crowd, Better Off Ted, Top Gear, The Inbetweeners, Modern Family and more. Six Feet Under was incredible, have just finished House of Cards, best show I've seen in years

Music: Anything and everything from punk to indie to classical - faves are Keane, Stornoway, Kaiser Chiefs, Travis, Journey, Belle & Sebastian, also recently discovered London Grammar and Of Monsters and Men. Also love movie soundtracks and scores

Food: Mexican, Thai, Indian, Italian... No favourites, they're all equally great!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and friends (of course!), good showers, good films, my iDevices (sad but true), sports cars and seeing new places
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what I might find around the next corner
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
grabbing a drink with the guys from work, start winding down for the weekend
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Err, I like rom coms...
