My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Cinephile, trivia junkie, scientist, aspiring businessman and fan of F1, Adam & Joe, and the Oatmeal comic strips! Born and raised in Oxford, lived in the US for five years so have been reconnecting with people and places over the last year, enjoying living in London for the first time and looking forward to meeting someone to explore the city with
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Having spent many years in research science I've moved over into management and the commercialisation of healthcare innovations - really enjoying the change, and still get to work with stem cells 'n' the like
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Random useless facts mainly, movie trivia and guessing a song for the first few seconds, remembering birthdays... err, the useful stuff then! Have also been a lead fundraiser for children's and cancer charities over the past few years
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my smile - it does sound clichéd I know, it's just what most people comment on!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Generally autobiographies and non-fictions - life is stranger than fictions, and often more and fascinating

Movies: So many faves as major film fan - About a Boy, Fight Club, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Black Swan, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, American Beauty - Transformers was dumb but I loved it, 80s movies, animated films, so I like pretty much anything except horror and those über gore-for-gore's-sake movies

TV: Grand Designs, The IT Crowd, Better Off Ted, Top Gear, The Inbetweeners, Modern Family and more. Six Feet Under was incredible, have just finished House of Cards, best show I've seen in years

Music: Anything and everything from punk to indie to classical - faves are Keane, Stornoway, Kaiser Chiefs, Travis, Journey, Belle & Sebastian, also recently discovered London Grammar and Of Monsters and Men. Also love movie soundtracks and scores

Food: Mexican, Thai, Indian, Italian... No favourites, they're all equally great!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
would be my family and friends, sleep, my iPhone, good showers, movies and my morning cup of tea. I also love frosty winter morning, seeing new places and having ambitions in life
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what I might find around the next corner
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
thinking thinking there isn't a typical Friday night - might be dinner or drinks with workmates or jumping on a train and heading away somewhere... Or staying just in!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Electrical pylons creep me out. And the way they crackle when it rains. Yikes
