Romantic, energetic teddy bear, loves the sound of laughter, hates
to write these things. I am always trying to learn and am
interested in almost anything. A friend of mine described me as
being one of the few people he knows with truly catholic tastes: I
will go to the circus in the afternoon then go to a nice French
restaurant for dinner, a zoo the next day, the ballet at night, and
a baseball game the next day and enjoy all of them. I want to meet
someone who will want to do some of that with me, and show me what
she loves, who will play Scrabble and help me fill in the last clue
in a crossword: who wants to travel; Paris, London, the Pyramids,
Macchu Picchu, Disney, all the major league ballparks, to see
what's new and old and around the next corner. Someone who will
laugh at my jokes, and will make me laugh. Someone who will stand
by me at the hard times and make them easier just by being there.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to get through it with a little panache, acting, directing,
teaching, recently writing and, soon, producing....
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, puzzles, miniature golf, traveling, cooking
(from a recipe), the grand gesture...
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a big man with an easy smile....
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
So many.... Books: Always in the middle of 4 or 5: Harpo Speaks,
Catch-22, Neal Stephenson, Dumas, Oliver Sacks
Movies: Grant, Bogart, both Hepburns, Marx Brothers, Powell &
Pressburger, Raiders, Tom Hanks. I love movies (from the front of
the theater) except when they are too gory, or when their humor is
based on embarrassment, drugs or bodily fluids.
TV: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Eureka, House, Bones, cooking shows,
Treks, The Avengers
Music: Broadway Shows, Beatles, Bobby Mcferrin, Classical.... I
like most music, but don't know too much about it.
Food: Indian, Chinese, Thai (spicy, yummmm...) French, Italian,
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to make the world a better place, and how to get people to
really see what is going on around them
On a typical Friday night I am
If I am not acting or improv-ing, going to a movie, or theater or
hanging out with friends playing cards or games. During the summer
watching or listening to the Mets of Red Sox.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that I have something private to admit.
