My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A fairly quiet, outdoorsy person not into spectator sports. You know what? I really am not a fan of long walks on the beach, but going to the beach to watch people and their dogs play in the surf is a cool distraction. kayaking is fun, but I prefer canoeing on lakes and ponds, but here in florida a quiet romantic moonlight paddle on a mirror surfaced pond can result in a lot of screaming and thrashing about when an alligator snacks on fingertips intended to caress the still waters surface. The idea of sailing is nice, but I have not done that since I was a kid. I do enjoy hiking and semi primitive camping, even amongst the gators and pigs that hang out in the parks.

Local history needs to be explored, and although I am not really a luddite, I prefer the old way of doing things. Museums and old towns need exploring, and Geocaching is my new hobby, recently started. It gives me a little motivation to get out and about , stretch my brain and fool my body into thinking I am getting more exercise. I drive long distances for a living, ( Not a semi driver.) and will be finding local work because it is time to focus on whats important instead of feeding my wanderlust.

Relion and spirituality are not high on my self assesment list, but I would not say I am morally bankrupt or a heathen, either.

Drugs are a definite NO, and I do not and never have smoked tobacco. In the course of a year I drink less than some drink in a night. Education is not my strong point, having only a high school diploma. I do read, and can write although it is a bit scrawly.

I can get cranky. It happens. Not often, not for long. Not a grudge holder.

Not a cat person. It took thousands of years for man to develop a system to carry waste from his home to wherever waste goes to. To keep a healthy animal in your home that does not live in a cage and have to carry out its waste makes no sense to me... Most of the cats that have lived with me in the past have had differing opinions.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working and learning that there is more to life than working.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Keeping an open mind. Trying new things and new experiences is important to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not a clue. I am pretty comfortable with myself and accepting of others.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

"Eclectic" describes my tastes in books and movies, music is not so important. Food is interesting to me, and I have been lucky enough to travel to places where the exotic and unusual foods are normal.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I am not sure if the statement concerns character or material things, but since this seems to be a slightly entertaining question, we can say chopsticks, hammocks and regenerative camping trips. Family ties are not really last or least, but pretty much underscore everything else. Hmm. Two more. My curiosity is always with me, sometimes to the chagrin of others. This is a tougher question to gnaw on than it seems. I shall ponder and return. -I have pondered. Lastly, Books. Real paper paged books.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
( Insert musical interlude here. )
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Changes week to week with my work schedule.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am fairly open in person, but I won't run my laundry up a flag pole.
