My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name is William, I'm whimsical, I strive to be winsome and I always appreciate an awesome application of alliteration. I most value the people in my life. I'm laid back and don't let much get me down. I ride my bike as often as possible. I value fitness, and get most of mine through team sports (currently ultimate, soccer, kickball, basketball and bubble soccer [seriously, bubble soccer, look it up, it's ridiculous]), adventures, and transportation. I like games. I can get competitive, but have learned to turn it off. I love being outside and among nature. I can't get enough of adventures, new places and new foods. A few years ago I quit a job with the Giants to go on a 3 month road trip of national parks and then to move back to my hometown, closer to my 7 younger siblings, before they headed off on adventures of their own. I hope friends use an anecdote like that when summing me up.

I've traveled and volunteered in a developing nation for a year, spent months straight on the road visiting national parks, hiking by day and camping by night, and I’d love to do it all again. I'm on here because it would be rad to find someone who values the people and relationships in their life, doesn't sweat the small stuff and would be into trying new things, places, foods and activities together, while also enjoying the down time in between with a game, a good show or just relaxing in a hammock.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a helpdesk administrator at the Bone and Joint Center, but more importantly, getting ever better at planning scavenger hunts, organizing various camping / hiking / kayaking / swimming / exploring adventures with friends, hanging with my baby nephew, and loving every minute of it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Riding my bike everywhere, making bananas foster, ping pong, being a big brother, strategy board games, Ms. Pac Man, not breaking bones, being ridiculous

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the pale blue dot, what to do and where to go next, socioeconomics, environmental issues, politics (it depresses me that the issues of evolution, female contraceptive rights, gay marriage and secularism are considered debatable), what I want in the future and how to get there, how the world can be made a better place and how awesome it would be to be one of the survivors of oceanic flight 815. After recently watching ‘Seeking a Friend for the End of the World’ I keep coming back to: ‘if we found out the world was ending soon, what would I wish I’d done differently and what changes can I make now and going forward to ensure that nothing else gets added to that list’. Every choice I make or action I take is another chance to change.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

The first time I needed stitches was the direct result of a gathering of friends drinking hot chocolate, there was blood everywhere... I've since gotten much better at drinking hot chocolate

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Ideally you're an adventurous, energetic, confident, positive person who enjoys laughing, has an open mind and after reading through this profile, you think we would get along awesomely. Ultimately when a relationship happens, I want it to be built on great friendship, mutual caring, and similar interests, values and outlooks.

And as much as I really like being outdoors, notsomuch during the 4 month northeast winter (aside from sledding and other snow related fun… followed directly by hot chocolate of course), so if you live in a warmer place or have dreams of doing so someday and it seems like we’d get along swimmingly, don't let my location prevent you from striking up a conversation.
