My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to think I'm funny. I am a witty person and enjoy sarcasm. I like to laugh

Killing it.. DONE..

Moving forward with my career and ambitions.

Nah, but for real, I currently do tech support for a large company in a retail setting. I just transferred to Austin from a store near Denver last fall and have been exploring different paths to take my career in. It helps when your employer is part of a very successful tech corporation and one of the two primary corporate offices is in your town.

Outside of work I spend a lot of time hanging out with my friends listening to music and trying to see shows. I like to be lazy and sleep in, but, I have a sort of anxiety that keeps me from being too much of a couch potato. I have to get outside and do something with myself or I get depressingly bored (even if that means just getting out for a walk around Zilker Park or the Greenbelt or driving around Austin drinking a Big Gulp listening to music).
I like to watch sports. I try and play basketball as often as I can. It's been filling the void that snowboarding has left since moving back from Colorado.

Oh yeah, and I like to go for runs. I try to do 6 miles a day. For me it's like a form of meditation. I'll just throw on some good tunes and clear my mind.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not taking myself too seriously and making people happy. I have a knack for making random friends wherever I go.

You would have to ask them. Probably my goofy laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Food! I love it. If I didn't have as much self restraint and motivation I would probably just let go and get fat eating all day. I love Mexican food and Barbecue.
If its in front of me I can't stop eating anything that involves crackers/chips and dip.
For some reason I didn't used to, but, I've recently developed an affinity for sushi. The only problem is I don't have anyone to go eat it with. None of my friends really like it.

My favorite authors and books are Tolkien, Vonnegut, T. Robbins, H. Thompson, Brett Easton Ellis, W. S. Burroughs, Kerouac, Goosebumps etc...

Movies: Forrest Gump, 90s movies, Documentaries, Ghostbusters, Comedies.

I just kind of watch television shows depending on what those around me are currently infatuated with. I guess I just don't have that go-getter attitude when it comes to committing to multiple seasons of a popular mini series, but, I'm happy to watch whatever anyone else is into.

Music is tough to narrow down. Whatever sounds good. From rap to to reggae to Grateful Dead to electronica to top 40, my palette spans most contemporary genres; as long as it has got a funky beat.
I like seeing live music whether its a full band, rap/hip hop, or a DJ. I', not quite as dedicated as I used to be back in Colorado in the mid 2000s as a dreadlocked hippy-gangster on tour with Sector 9; Seeing every late night show; Catching every DJ set; Getting in to every sold out concert; But, I still like to see live music, especially cheap local stuff. I've been somewhat out of the rotation though as of late. I did just see Phish close out their sumer tour with three nights in Denver over Labor Day weekend.
