My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is William and you can call me Bill or Billy, whichever you prefer. I graduated from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a degree in General Engineering. I have always been into sports (mainly baseball, basketball, hockey and football) and I was somewhat of a jock in high school, but since going to college I have come to love playing music even more although I do still play any sport when I can just not as much organized. I love to play guitar, a bit of the uke, I'm trying to learn the piano, and I love to sing (although its taken me quite a while to get the courage to do that in front of people). I am always there for my friends and I tend to be the person that people like to come to for help and just to talk because I am a good listener and I tend to put others before myself. I am somewhat quiet, but it is not do to being shy or getting embarrassed easiIy by an means. I am pretty outgoing one on one and in small groups, but I hold back in conversation in larger group settings. Anything else you would like to know just feel free to ask ;( I accidently wrote the winky sad face instead of a smiley face, but I like that one better so I'm going to keep it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently working for a rapidly growing data analytics consulting firm out of Chicago. Some projects require travel and I may be flying to client sites during the week. If this is the case, I will be in Chicago Thursday night through Monday morning and gone during the weekdays.

There are many perks of this job though where I get to see new projects and new cities for work as well as the ability to travel elsewhere on weekends for basically free, so I have seen a lot of places in the US. This is how I found out how awesome Denver and the surrounding area is :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Most sports except anything with a frisbee, listening, and pretty good on guitar but would not say really good yet. Working on the piano a bit, but it gets difficult with traveling.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"You have very blue eyes." Heard that one a lot ...use to probably be my hair though when it was really long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Hunger Games, LOTR, The Hobbit, A Song of Ice and Fire (aka A Game of Thrones series), The Adventures of Huck Finn, The Greatest Generation, Shakespeare's Sonnets, Godzilla Ate my Homework, There's a Boy in the Girls Bathroom, Where the Sidewalk Ends, Hop on Pop

Movies - Fight Club, Memento, The Usual Suspects, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, Titanic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Replacements, Step Brothers, Anchorman, Old School, Dumb and Dumber, A Knights Tale, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Singing in the Rain, anything with...Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Edward Norton, Kevin Spacey, George Clooney, Gerard Butler, anything by Christopher Nolan ...the list never ends and I can enjoy pretty much any kind of movie if it is done well or my kind of comedy. I'm not a fan or horror movies, but I will do thrillers with interesting plots. I just don't find movies that have a sole purpose of scaring to be that entertaining.

TV - Arrested Development, Scrubs, Lost, Dexter, The Office, Game of Thrones, Community, Entourage, Breaking Bad, Californication, South Park, Archer, Workaholics, GSN, Whose Line

Music - Pretty much anything...only some rap though. John Mayer, One Republic, The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, Journey, Boston, Radiohead, Muse, Andy Mckee, Mat Kearney, Ben Rector, Donavon Frankenreiter, Bright Eyes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Fall Out Boy, Smashing Pumpkins, Most 90s Alt, Kid Cudi.... depends on what mood I'm in.

Food - I love trying new things and I am willing to try everything once. I love most asian, mexican, and indian cuisine, but for everyday cooking by myself, anything thrown into a wrap or tortilla is my favorite. I love making breakfast burritos.

I'm going to add the category "Sports Team" because that seems to come up a lot.
-White Sox

P.S. I'm a Sox fan not a Cubs hater so I don't mind watching the cubs either. It's all Chicago and I love baseball. I'll joke about how both teams suck usually, but I will defend my team if need be.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I want to travel to next and when I will be able to take the time to go international next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out to a nice pub or restaurant. Friday nights I don't usually want to go crazy... if I want to do that it is usually Saturday. Maybe staying in and watching a movie, shows, playing guitar, or some game with friends. If I'm out of town, I love to explore new cities.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm a sucker for a good romantic comedy (aka chick flicks). People can put down The Notebook all they want as a cheesy romance, but it is a damn good movie and Ryan Gosling is a damn good actor in it. Also, Rachael McAdams is gorgeous so there is a chance I may have just been drooling over her the whole movie and that's why I thought it was good. Ill have to watch it again sometime to make sure, but for now I'm standing by my previous comments.

I also love to play chess. This was a more recent discovery so I'm not amazing, but it's such an interesting game and I love to play.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to get to know me or just feel like chatting. I'm always down for some interesting convo. I do like more than I message, and although I usually do, I don't believe the guy should have to be the one to message first so feel free if I haven't. Most of the time I browse through here during breaks so I don't get back to messaging for hrs or days later.
